It’s been about 4 weeks since giving the twin’s over to Xavier. It has been emotional torture but knowing they are at least somewhere safe and not in one of the orphanages has been somewhat of a comfort.
Lucas, Scott and I moved back into our home. Seeing the nursery in our room was a dark reminder of what happened. I held onto hope that they would come back home to us.
They have been helping me with my postpartum depression ever since I was diagnosed shortly after giving birth and losing them. Lucas and I have been doing movie nights, arts and crafts along with baking everything you can imagine. My favourite was baking a three-layer cake!
