Chapter 8

Axles POV

Writing everything down it all looks perfect!

Tonight i'll send word to the villages of our request to set up these stations. we'll need humans there to run it, store the bags and document the names of prisoners that get time off their sentences.

Each night i'll send someone to collect the bags and add them to our supplies. depending on how well this works my underlings can boost their feeds right away!

I lean back with a sigh of relief as exhaustion floods my body.

*Blake there's orders on my desk. Get things started i'm going to get some rest*

I head up to my room, strip down to my boxers and collapse on the bed. within seconds sleep takes me under.

Max's POV

It's been a busy day!

Judy - the nurse, has set up the station here already! with patty being the first to donate followed by many more. It was an instant boost meaning they could get the bags to those that were starving, hopefully stopping anymore rouge attacks.

I didn't realise there were so many Vampires here, Judy informed me there's 200 within the castle walls, they have put a stop to turning mates such as Patty as it would drain their supplies more. Judy also wants to be a proper mate to her master James too, it seems quite common here.

It's strange really, those outside the walls fear coming here. Thinking of those inside as vicious monsters, we'll i guess they can be but they're trying.

They could have continued to rip us from our homes but they stopped. They've changed so we have to as well, we have to find a way to all live together.

The humans here seem to really like it, many end up falling in love with their masters, i mean just look at Patty and Blake, he treats her like royalty and makes sure she's taken care of!

I try to think of more ways to boost supplies but my mind is blank by the time i reach my room. I look around in search of Axle to tell him the good news but i find him spread out in bed.

I bite my lip wondering if i should wake him, i have nowhere else to sleep and his normally up and about at night.

I huff as i go get changed into a black nightie before creeping up to the bed "Axle?" i softly coo trying to wake him gently. I frown as he hasn't even stirred "Axle!!" i say with a more stern tone.... nothing

"For f**k sake" i reach over and shake his arm "Axle!!" he snores and rolls away from me grunting.

"Fine!" too tired to bother continuing i peel the sheets back and climb in with this big oaf snoring beside me, falling quickly asleep.

Axles POV

I wake up to the smell of Max under my nose, opening my eyes to her curled into my chest using one of my arms as a pillow, my other arm is thrown over her waist, she has one leg over one of mine making us completely entangled.

I don't even remember her getting into bed?

I try to gently move so i don't wake her when she suddenly moans and grinds her hips against my leg.

"f**k" i whisper while looking around the room for a way to escape.

She does it again like she's desperately looking for some friction between her thighs, her arousal hits my nose as one of her arms wraps around my side.

Max nods and rolls off me as i quickly slip out of bed and run for a shower!

The cold water hitting my body is normally enough to calm my needs but today it's not working. I've been under here for five minutes already and I'm still hard as a rock!

"how far have we gotten with the plans?

"I've sent James, Zara, Damian and Alistair out to different villages to send word of your plans, Patty and Max went around yesterday and rounded up all the feeders. Judy set up the blood station here and the bags have already been given to the most hungry to try and stop anymore outbursts."

"Great! keep me updated" Axle smiles. finally we have a plan!

Max's POV

I lay still pretending to be asleep until Axle leaves, I can't believe it! I blame my f****d up brain entirely!

Why would i dream of Axle? let alone him touching me in such private areas! I woke up with my p***y soaked pushing my sensitive nub into his strong thigh. My god it felt amazing but the shame that came after...

I throw my hands up to my face with a sigh, i drag myself out of bed and run to the shower before heading to meet Patty at the bakery.

We have someone coming today that likes baking so i'm hoping they'll be able to help out some days giving me and Patty a break!

The bell rings as i enter my little bakery, the scent of fresh bread is already filling the air "Patty? how early did you get here?"

She appears from the kitchen with smudges of flower on her face and her red hair in a hairnet, "I had trouble sleeping last night so i decided to come in early" she shruggs.

"Oh how come? is everything okay?" Patty nods with a soft smile, "Yeah just seeing that vamp go rouge yesterday freaked me out a little, i know Blake would never let anyone hurt me but his not always here"

I step forward and give her a gentle hug "Don't stress about it, Axle is working on the village blood stations and we'll continue to pick up the slack here, which reminds me i need to go at some point today, Axle fed yesterday so i should be good for donations for the next day or so"

Patty gives me a sympathetic smile "how did it go? still no venom?"

"Actually he did, he promised to keep his hands to himself while he fed and he stuck to his word! Although i can see why so many people enjoy it" i say with a blush and a giggle.

Patty smiles wide "Ohh see i told you its much better! Although it would have been 100% more fun if you didn't get Axle to make that promise"

"Noo way i already removed one man from his crown jewels for touching me against my will i don't really want it happening again" i sighed.

Patty's eyes widened in disbelief "No way! is that why you're here?"

I bit my cheek "Yeah he bled out and died, His father was one of the top councillors in my village so i didn't even get a trial. I was sent here for life" i shrugged

"Oh s**t, that sucks how come you weren't sent to the bags?" Patty says continuing to probe.

"Axle, he took me straight from the gate to the castle without checking my paperwork, I told him what happened and he just laughed and said Richard deserved it" i say heading back to the kitchen to start on the cakes.

Patty follows "Wow, he was at the gates? is that when he gave you his neckband?" Patty pulls a confused face "He never bothers greeting the new offerings he just gets their paperwork and changes it if he see's a crime he doesn't like"

I can't help but laugh at her questions "Yeah he put on my collar when we reached his room" i say starting to mix ingredients together.

"That's weird. you must have smelt really damn good to him" she laughs.
