Plot summary -

The love fiction centers on Ai and Yichan who were born in Tianchang in the year 1994, though they were born on the same night, the power of Ai was as strong as, that caused the fate of many children born on the same with her to change. Yichan was greatly affected and to change his fate he must meet with Ai. His unexpected meeting with Ai for the first time not knowing who she is caused them to kick off in the wrong foot as enemies. The death of Ai parents right after her birth. The unfortunate fate she has that follows her around were all a deep pain she carries around. At the end her fate crosses part with Yichan and things in their life began to change positively and unexpected. It was written before time that a loveable young woman will have to be with the thought dark lord to change her unfortunate fate and his own fate.

Chapter one

The Birth

Tianchang (simplified Chinese: **; traditional Chinese: **; pinyin: Tiāncháng) is a sub-prefecture-level city in the east of Anhui province, and is the closest city in the province to the mouth of the Yangtze River. It is bordered by the Jiangsu county-level divisions of Luhe District (Nanjing) to the southwest, Yizheng City to the southeast, Gaoyou City to the east, Jinhu County to the northeast, and Xuyi County to the northwest, as well as Anhui's Lai'an County to the west.

5000 years ago, in Tianchang there lived two Individuals who were friends and they loved each other and were known as the dark lord and the fate changer. They were Blessed by the gods of the land, and their spirit were meant to be together. The gods brought them both to help protect the place and better the lives of people who lived in Tianchang. The dark lord was the protector of the day and night for the people. The fate changer was the one changing people's fate from good to bad including her own fate. She and the dark lord were in peace and harmony amongst themselves. The outside world wanting to take down Tianchang from its mighty state to an enslaved state and exploit their natural resources, as the place is blessed with many resources by they gods they worship as a means of making money for the people of Tianchang. The outside world had to cause a dispute between the two heroes of Tianchang. They finally succeed and the dark lord cut all tiers with the fate changer. The security and peace of Tianchang was now incomplete. Over time the people of the other cities planned and allied together to kill the dark lord and the fate changer. They all succeeded in their plan but the issue they had was the fact that both the dark lord and the fate changer said, they will surely be reincarnated and this time to come back and deal with them.

There came a prophecy that the dark lord would be born on the night of the dark moon, the same night with the fate changer, the fate of the dark lord will be changed if the fate changer is born first, but if the dark lord is born first then he will determine the fate of the fate changer. The fate changer is said to be all powerful to change the fate of anyone who comes around her but her dilemma is that she is unfortunately fated and the only one who can help her with the unfortunate fate she has, is the dark lord. The very day propheced has be long awaited by the people of Tianchang who believed in magical powers as been bestowed to them as a gift from their gods as a way of blessing them and protect them from the outside world as the were a little town. The outside world feared this little town because of their powerfulness.

The day of the dark moon as said earlier is set for four days time, the people of Tianchang are getting ready for the dark moon night all pregnant mothers set to give birth. Now, the hour as prophecied is here, the dark moon raising, many mothers in Tianchang were giving birth that night and there were no specific instructions given to follow to find out who was the dark lord and the fate changer. The first child that was given birth to was the fate changer from the family of Zhou. she was an easy one to come through, as little as she was, she caused change immediately she was born and that made the other mothers to give birth at the exact same time. Now many males were born, there was no way to detect who was the dark lord. The dark lord was born into the family of Zou. The both family experienced a great change after the birth of their kids. The Zhou family named their pretty daughter Ai meaning "loveable". They thanked their gods for the child that they gave them and for the safe delivery too.

The Zou family named their son Yichan,after his birth his family experienced a good turn around, the Zou family was the most respected family in Tianchang and well known for their kindness and love but at a point the family business began to crumple , their known wealth status in Tianchang wasn't the same. That did not change their reputation of the most noble family. Upon the birth of Yichan, their son things started turning around to the way it was and more. The family never knew that their son was the dark lord who everyone waited for. The dark lord is known for controlling the night and he has magical powers to do what he wants to anyone he wants. He is the strongest but this time his fate is determined by the fate changer.

Ai's fate that is unfortunate unlike Yichan fate, that brought good will upon his birth to the family brought bad luck. Ai been fated with a bad fate brought down fall to her parents, her mother falls ill and her father's business started to crumple to nothing. Her family was affected by her unfortunate fate, she could change people's fate but she can't change her own fate. The mid wife who helped her mother give birth to her was not walking well on her left leg but after giving birth to her for the mother she started walking well. Ai' as a baby wasn't always with her mother because of the fact that she fell ill immediately after giving birth to her. The people loved her as her name states and always wished that her family situation do not worsen. All they could do was pray that she meets the fate changer to change her fate for her. The people of Tianchang were all filled with love and joy, that there prayers have been answered after thousands of years had passed.

Chapter two

Initiation

Rituals and traditions can be as simple as bringing out certain holiday ornaments and decorations, inviting children to share their memories around each. Rituals and traditions can include having certain familiar foods, playing traditional music and reading familiar stories that explain beliefs and the reasons behind some of the family rituals. Parents can be very intentional when it comes to rituals and traditions.

In Tianchang, there was a birth ritual conducted for all the children given birth to in that town. The ritual was made compulsory for every child born in Tianchang or a native of the town. Persons who lived in Tianchang conducts the ritual fourteen days after the birth of the children and for the natives of Tianchang who don't live in Tianchang comes back with the child for the performance of the ritual.For the people of Tianchang, their ritual was a great value to keep as a people. The believe that it is the way of initiating the children to their gods as a well known way of showing appreciation for their blessings. They believe also that the top priority is to create joy and beautiful memories by inviting our children to experience rituals and traditions, hoping that their grandchildren will understand the importance and continue our traditions with their children some day. The ritual is carried out by the children been bathed by the priest who watches the temple where they worship their gods. After the rituals are done the family of the children takes them away and hosts a feast for the people to come and rejoice with them as they are the ones the gods has blessed directly.

This ritual done for new born children in Tianchang as a tradition has been passed down from their fathers father up on till their time and it has helped maintain peace and love in the society. The elders of Tianchang has so far handled the ritual to the best of their power. Right after the rituals were been done and the people were feasting, they elders of Tianchang went back to the priest at the temple to inquire if he noticed anything about the children while he was performing the rituals, the asked him, if he could tell who the dark lord and fate changer were. But the priest replied saying to them that he did not notice anything that could tell him that a particular child is the dark lord though he was able to identify the fate changer. The elders asked him how he knew that the child he is talking about is the fate changer, the priest told them that when it got to the child's turn the weather changed from a rainy one to a sunny one immediately and after that the water he used for the rituals was a warm water knowing they were kids and hot water to an extent would not be OK knowing that the are just two weeks old. But as it was her turn the water turned hot all of a sudden, he was confused at that point but before he went to the next child the water went back to the normal warm water, at that point he was totally convinced that the child was the fate changer. The elders asked why her water changed and the priest explained that the fate changer is powered to change people's fate from bad to good, that's why the weather changed from rainy to sunny and that the reason the water changed to hot water was because she is unfortunately fated and that her own fate can only change when she comes in contact with the dark lord as Stated in the prophecy which came thousands years ago. The elders been curious asked if he could tell them the name of the child who is the fate changer. He told them that the child is a girl like the last fate changer and she is the the daughter of their noble chief Zhou,Ai. The priest also told them that for the fact that the fate changer is unfortunately fated means she was born before the dark lord. And been born first according to the prophecy means she has changed the fate of the dark lord, that's why he can't be identified now.

They elders wondered to the priest how a little girl who is just two weeks old can do all that he just said, the priest laughed saying "that the fact she is a baby doesn't mean her spirit is a baby" . He made it clear to them that they two children who they are looking for (dark lord and fate changer) are spirited with the spirits of Tianchang ancient warriors and their spirit is over ten thousand years old. They elders thanked the priest for the information he has given them to help them stop been curious and to be aware of the situation going on in the town as the they are the town elders. As they were on their way going home from the temple to join the on going feast in the town, they asked themselves a very good question " Is the little girl's fate the reason for the family misfortune of recent as her father's business went down and her mother ill all of a sudden?". After much thought the elders decided to go and inform her parents that their child is the fate changer that was propheceid about thousand years ago. As they were approaching the house of chief Zhou, they were filled with joy knowing who the fate changer was and her family which she was born into was a noble one. But still deep down they were worried about the fact that they don't have any clue on who the dark lord was and if he was born in a male form like the last dark lord which they were told about and what kind of family he was born into to avoid him using his powers negatively, knowing what the dark lord can do with his powers. Finally they arrived at the house and joined the feast on going, not too long, the feast was over and they people thanked the parents of the children who their birth rituals were carried out today.

Chapter three

The find outs

As the place was vacated by they people who came for the feast and the parents of they other kids, cause the feast was organized at the Zhou family house. The elders called the father of Ai, Zhou and informs him that his new child is one of the long propheceid warrior of Tianchang and that her fate is the cause of all the recent happenings in the family. To the surprise of the elders , chief Zhou replied them saying that he was aware right from when she was in the womb of her mother, explaining that his wife witnessed wonderful things happening to people who came around her while she was pregnant but she herself was facing bad things almost every day and everywhere. At that time he had to inquire from the priest who stays in the temple but the priest couldn't do much but asked him to go inside the temple's library and see if he would read up anything about what is happening to his wife and to know what to do about it. As a scholar he went into the library, after much search, no results, but then he came across an old dusty book, he dusted it and opened it up just to see exactly what his wife is going through, as the mother of the ancient fate changer went through the same scenario. After knowing about it he prepared himself ahead of time to face whatsoever it was. They elders were amazed at his boldness and maturity towards the situation and he asked the elders not to let they people of Tianchang know a word about the fact that his child Ai was the fate changer. At least not until they find out who the dark lord is to help Ai's fate.He made them understand that the identity of Ai as the fate changer and that of the dark lord, if he was finally found, should be kept hidden and remain a secret between him, they elders and the priest, as to avoid what happened thousand years ago reoccurring as he understood by what he read from the book, he stormed upon during his quest in the temple's library for solutions. He also told them that, if the same thing reoccures again they will be in double trouble as they know how many thousand years it took they warriors to be reincarnated and this time their enemies would give no chances for their birth.

On the other hand while the Tianchang people were rejoicing in their homes that there time of been under control of other towns will come to an end as their warriors are back again. The current generation of people dwelling in Tianchang heard what Tianchang was like when their warriors were alive, but things changed after their death. They were happy that they will be enjoying that freedom and happy environment once again. The rebirth of their most strongest warriors( dark lord and fate changer) was an important part of the people, now on hearing the latest happenings by the outside world caused them to start planning on how to kill all they children given birth to on the night of the dark moon. As the arrangement of the other town authorities to abduct every child that was born on the night of the dark moon, as there was no way to identify who the actual child was, to that effect they decided to abduct all the children born on that night to avoid making mistakes and taking the wrong kids who are not the dark lord and the fate changer. Those town authorities had to put their powers together to make sure that Tianchang was not out of their control to manipulate as to gain access to their natural reserve which they are blessed with. The thought of not having access to the resources which for thousand years has been their means of making money for their town and more especially for themselves. For the fact they were too ambitious and greedy towards Tianchang's resources they didn't want to take chances losing it not only because of the resources but also for the facts of how their ancestors used methods to ensure they secure the town and its resources and not only that, they were known as the strongest town cause they have Tianchang under their control.

Now the assassins sent to abduct the little kids who were known to have been born on the night of the dark moon, they got to Tianchang and understood that the children given birth to were numerous and another great situation was the fact that many children were born a day before the dark moon night and there was nothing used to differentiate them from the ones delivered on the night of the dark moon this led to them been confused and would not risk the chances of being caught while trying to abduct the children cause they were numerous in number. The assassins decided to go back to their masters who sent them on the mission which they were unable to accomplish. On getting to their town, the reported back to their masters, as their masters saw them, they asked them if they the mission was accomplished but the assassins replied in the negative saying NO, they masters became furious and asked why they are so incompetent to carry out a simple work after been paid a huge amount of money, the head man for the assassin group, went forward towards the masters pleaded that they were sorry for the mission not been accomplished but he put it to them that the information they were given was wrong, they were told any new born baby there was born on the dark moon day are to be abducted for assassination but on getting there they realized that the majority of the the babies were born a day to the night of the dark moon. On hearing this the masters were astonished and didn't know what to do but had to make a quick decision for the assassins to carry out, having in mind that delay is dangerous. The assassin group leaves the room for the masters to make a quick decision, wondering what their decision would be
