It was currently 3:00 in the am and everyone was asleep while I stayed wide awake. It sucks being a vampire sometimes.
Sleeping little, getting sun burnt easily, living forever. All things I never asked for.
Luckily as a hybrid I slept way more than regular vampires did. My skin wasn't as sensitive as theirs but there was no cheating my way past the whole immortality thing. That aspect was unavoidable.
There were advantages to being a hybrid but there were also disadvantages. My blood lust was stronger than that of other vampires. It was probably because of my wolf. Having a being that functioned purely on instinct live in my head made the blood lust harder to control. I can also control my lust better because I've never fed from the vein.
