Chapter 5

Nate's P.O.V

"Ladies and gentlemen my daughter and your next alpha has an announcement to make before the party is in full swing." her dad's loud voice booms across the room.

I walk across the room and help her stand up on the table so she didn't fall in those heels. "Firstly I want to thank everyone for coming and I know you all have questions on why a Jaguar shifter is here. Well as everyone knows at this age we are able to find our mate and the goddess had blessed me with finding mine before I even shifted." Whispers were flowing around the room and she was getting irritated but my hand in hers calmed her down. "As I was saying, as many has probably figured out yes Nate is my mate and you can either deal with it or you can leave. I don't care what the problem is with his kind but he is of a rare case being born of two wolf shifters. Thank you and enjoy the party." As soon as the words left her mouth she started to scream in pain as she started to shift.

"s**t she's shifting early. Take her outside. Now!!!" her father screams at me since I'm already holding her.

I take off running to the backyard. "Hold on baby girl you're gonna be OK I promise."

As soon as I get outside and put her down her shift is complete. The fastest shift I have ever seen in my life. And I'm in complete shock at what I see before me.

"What is happening? Never before has this happened. She's a hybrid the very first hybrid." her father is in complete shock. He'll I'm in complete shock. Not on is she a werewolf but also a werecat. It's never happened before when one shifter takes after both parents.

"What, what kind of shifter am I? And how am I able to still talk right now. I'm fully shifted right." Nevaeh was starting to panic. I grabbed her and just hugged her form to calm her down.

Nevaeh's P.O.V

"Baby you need to calm down. Yes you have fully shifted but like me you are one of a kind. You are both a werewolf and werecat." Nate tells me calmly.

"That's not all I am apparently. How do I shift back?"

"Just picture yourself in your human form. But don't you want to run first?"

"No we need to talk. And I gonna need clothes." I do as Nate tells me to and just picture myself in human form and it hurt way less this time. I was handed some clothes while Nate and my brother and dad blocked everyone's view of me necked. Thank God too.

"Dad, Nate we need to talk privately."

"OK my office then." We started walking to his office. I grabbed Nates hand easily as we walked not without noticing my dad and brothers glare at him. I just roll my eyes at them.

"First you should know that I'm not just a hybrid but also an elemental." I start explaining. "Before you start asking questions, Selene visited me while I was shifting and told me I would have control over the elements and that a war was coming. And than mine and Nates choices were controlling the path of this war. I don't exactly know what she meant but I do know that now more than ever you have no choice but to accept him now. Without him we could lose this upcoming was." I saw looking pointedly at my dad while snuggling into Nates side. He just wraps his arm around my waist easily.

"You can't be serious. Just because you was having a dream while shifting doesn't mean we have to accept him." my brother, Jake growls while pointing at Nate.

"Oh really you don't believe me then huh Jakey." I ask. "Well then I guess I'll have to prove it to you then huh." I start to look a little smug as I raise my hand to give an example but stop.

"Um, Jada how do we use our powers?"

"Honestly I don't know yet. I guess just think about what you want to do and visualize it." Jada suggests.

Ok so I visualize what I want to do and then let it flow out of me. So I think about blowing his hair and just let it flow.

"Holy s**t. Nevaeh stop." Jake screamed. I opened my eyes and his hair I standing up straight.

I start laughing because it was funny to see especially since now he looked like alfalfa. "Do you believe me now Jakey." I said between fits of laughter.

"So what does this mean. Is Nate supposedly our next alpha because he's your mate? The pack isn't going to accept that." my brother points out.

"Well Jake if you haven't forgotten he's also of alpha blood so wouldn't it benefit us by having him especially since he has special gift. But first dad would have to initiate him into the pack."

"No." my dad growls out.

I glare at him and just think for a second and then the biggest smile crossed my face. Goddess help me for what I'm about to say to my father and alpha. "OK then fine then you can fight the upcoming war alone and we can go to his pack and I can get his father to see reason. I mean you know how powerful an alphas daughter is and I'm even more powerful since not only am I an alphas daughter and hybrid but also an elemental too."

Shock was all I could see across his face, well everybody's face.
