After I was able to identify Sam as being my attacker the police had hauled him away. I was worried that he was just going to get out of jail once again and we would be right back to where we are now. But even more so I was stressed about the fact that someone else got hurt trying to protect me. When the woman who was acting as me approached me and told me what Sam was planning for the future it made my stomach curl in knots. How could one person be so sick and twisted? Mike was holding me and telling me it was ok. He kept telling me that I was safe now and I truly believed it in my heart. It was just my head that wasn’t letting that information through.
