Edith came out of her room feeling so refreshed. It had been a long time since she had slept soundly like this. Usually, she would sleep until midnight after thinking of many plans to repay her grandmother and younger brother for everything they had done. But last night, all those problems disappeared, like a dream.
Edith initially thought it was a dream, but seeing the two pairs of pendants on the table, the woman finally realized that what happened last night was reality.
"Edith, are you awake?" Eva smiled kindly, she even took her daughter's arm, leading the woman to sit at the crowded dining table.
Usually, these people would just eat first without paying attention to the woman. But it seemed that after last night's events, they chose to be nice to Edith.
