CHAPTER 2: KINGS ARE BORN

Back in Nania, people rejoicing with their wives and friends. Kai enters the house to meet his pregnant wife,Salom. Salom was pregnant with male twins but she never wanted to give birth to them because she had a vision where one of the twins had killed their father and the other one had killed her and one of them had conquered the throne to rule Nania.

Kai never believed ber visions and he insisted that she should give birth to the twins.

When it clocked midnight, it was time for Salom to give birth to the twins and so she successfully did. With a smile on Kai's face, he saw tattoos on both the twin's bodies in form of scars. Kai told the other Nanians that it's time for them to feast and celebrate the birth of his twins. Kai named the First born, Meishi and the second born, Yangshi. Yin, Kai's Servant asks Kai as to why the boys are born with the tattoos in form of Scars on their bodies? Kai tells Yin in silence, "My two children are very special, those scars you see are not just any other normal scars.

Whichever Nanian possesses such scars is considered to be an Alpha Nanian" Kai continues and says, "Alphas are the deadliest species among our kind." Yin asks, "Does this mean that your children will be the next rulers of Nania? Kai replies, " Yes, it will be one of them, the one who is worthy of the throne.

Years later, Kai decides to train his two sons on how to fight, hunt and

control their natural abilities. Twelve years later Meshi decides to go with his mother, Salom to the forest and collect some, vegetables. As they are moving, Salom begins hearing voices in her head telling her to kill her son, Meishi. Salom tries to resist the voices but it's too hard for her to control. She quickly takes out a knife and attacks Meishi pushing him against the tree. "I should have killed you and your Brother a long time ago before you were born, you are a curse to my life and this world." Salom says. Meishi tries to run away in fear but Salom catches him and hits him down.

As the fight continues, Meishi's young brother, Yangshi Senses that his brother is in danger.

Yangshi gets out of the house, and quickly jumps into the forest tracking down the brother's scent.. As Salom is ready to stab Meishi with a knife, Yangshi jumps at her and strikes her with a heavy blow in the chest, falling onto a tree. Salom granting and groaning in pain says, "Forgive me my son, I did not mean it, I am your mother!"

Salom remembers the vision she got twelve years ago when one of her sons had killed her. Yangshi raises his talons to finish his mother's life but he collapses .

Kai hears screams and a loud growl from the forest and rushes to the forest to find out what was happening. Kai reaches and finds Meishi kneeling down in tears besides his mother and brother.
