Abduction

Diya's POV

The next morning, I woke up with the sun shining through the window over my face. I was feeling fresh and pleasant because it has been ages since I had such a peaceful sleep. I turned around to check the time and it was 7:00 AM in the morning OMG! I overslept, Dadi Ma will kill me. I jumped out of the bed dashing into the bathroom and within 5 minutes I was out, making sure my saree was pinned properly and trying to dry my wet hair I stumbled upon Mort, thankfully I managed to avoid stepping on him but instead I fell on the couch on which that demon was sleeping.

Oh, No! what have I done! I tried to move away from him but his hands soon gripped my waist and pulled me closer to his chest. Man, this is so embarrassing! "I'm sorry, I just slipped", "I wish to wake up to you like this every day, with you in my arms and your sweet scent all over me", he spoke while gawking me and drawing circles with his rough fingers over my waist. I pushed him away "I'll get your clothes out so you can freshen up for breakfast", I said while tying my hair into a braid.

Rahul whined a little but, later he went into the bathroom and I pulled out his outfit and other necessities making sure he finds everything that he needs and ran down to the kitchen.

As I entered kitchen I found Amruta cutting the vegetables, "is everybody up already? Did Dadi Maa wake up? Was I too late?", I was asking so many questions in one go as I was scared what Dadi Maa would say, "Didi, don't worry, as you know Roshni Tai went home and yesterday evening Jaya Tai also left to aid Roshni Tai and the rest of the family members wake up only after 8 am, so you are not late", she smiled at me and gave a reassuring pat on my hand.

I smiled back at her and started preparing the breakfast. Soon, the breakfast was served and everybody as in Kiran Chacha, Papa, Rohan, Shruti, Mishti and Dadi Maa were at the table but, Rahul was nowhere to be found it's not like I care because nothing good ever came with him being around but, Dadi Maa will surely ask for him and being well aware of what happened last night I have to take care of his everything, like his is my baby or watch my family to doom (mark the sarcasm!)

"Beta, Rahul where were you? what was taking you so long?", asked Papa, "Nothing Papa, I just couldn't find my socks", he replied while sitting on the chair next to me. I distinctly remember keeping his socks, watch, handkerchief along with his shirt and trousers then how did he manage to lose them? there's no way he cannot find something kept on the bed right before his eyes! he is lying as always and so I gave him a questioning stare. He winked at me and slowly rested his hand on my lap "I was waiting for you to show up when I was calling out your name", he whispered "I put everything that you needed on the bed so I thought it was useless to attend to your fake calls", I whisper yelled at him and nearly slipped the serving plate at his stupid gesture.

I quietly moved his hand and walked away from his place to freely serve others. While I was serving Dadi Maa, I could feel her cold vibes towards me. "Bahu, since, Roshni is not home so I want you to drop the kids to their school and make sure you pick them up at their usual time as well", spoke Dadi Maa, breaking the silence at the table. I nodded to her and as expected Rohan and Mishti shrieked out in joy. I smiled at them. Soon everybody was done having breakfast.

"Bhabhi, can I come with you as well? Actually, I need to talk to you about the project you helped me with last week", "Sure Shruti! I'll drop you to your college as well", I replied with a reassuring pat on her back.

-----------------------IN CAR---------------------------

I got into the car only to find Monster in the driving seat. "you are coming as well? ", "yes, since all the kids are going I thought it to be my responsibility to drop you all safely", he said while staring into my eyes, "wait, I'm not a kid neither is Shruti! also, won't you be late to office?", I tried my best to avoid him but whom am I kidding? he's not the type who'd let go so easily and I had no choice but to give up.

"Bye Bhabhi! Bye, Bhai!", said Rohan and Mishti while walking towards their school building and finally, we dropped Shruti at her college. It was just him and me in the car, somehow Shruti was hesitant to discuss her project to me with Rahul around. I wonder why?

"If you want, I can talk to Dadi Maa and sort the "Conceive Baby" matter", his words interfered my inner monolog and I was confused for a moment, wait what did he just say? I gave puzzled look "Wait, what? How did you know?", "Darling I was there when Dadi Maa was having a word with you, and yes! I was eavesdropping", He said stopping the car and looking at me

"I .. um, I can handle, please don't say a word to Dadi Maa, this matter is between us and with you interfering... wait! so you knew all about it! and yet, you pretended last night! you are horrible!!", I screamed at him, man! last night my heart would have blasted with the thoughts I was having not to mention his touch was only making me imagine a worse scenario and he knew it all along, then why didn't he tell me before! this guy is unbelievable! I was pissed and so I walked out of the car and started to walk towards the nearby bus stop.

Rahul's POV

Her expression was priceless, I know I'm naughty! but who is to blame? she mesmerizes me! and makes me commit sins. As I revealed to her that I was eavesdropping on her last night she was pissed and so she headed out on road walking out of the car. Hey! that's not fair, I know I was wrong but that doesn't mean she walks out of the car like that!

"Diya, wait! Diya stop! what are you doing?", by then she managed to cross the road and I was stuck at the other end of it as the signal turned red. I was watching her helplessly as she walked towards the bus stop. Man, I'm so dead! she doesn't have a good impression on me and now it has only gotten worse. while I was waiting for the signal to turn red, my eyes were fixed on her. She was standing at the opposite side of the road when a van passed by and the door opened only to show few arms grabbing Diya into the vehicle. Damn! this can't be happening! "DIYA! DIYA! DIYA NOO, HEY YOU STOP!!", I was screaming in the middle of the road, helpless and with a stinging pain in my chest. My love! nobody dares to take what is MINE! I DON'T CARE WHOEVER THAT IS HE SURE IS GOING TO BE DEAD IN THE NEXT FEW HOURS! and as for Diya, I'm going to get her no matter what 'Hang in there LOVE! I'm going to get you' with that I got into my car and tried to follow the vehicle, but that jerk was long gone and he didn't even have a number plate on his vehicle. Damn it!
