"I don't think we're strong enough for the Outlanders attack!" Monica insinuated, "I lost my parents to one so I know first-hand what such an attack is like."
"What do you imagine we do?" Jeff raised a scornful brow.
"We stay hopeful it's not about the Outlanders wanting to launch an attack."
"Being in denial is never going to change what would be. The Goddess has given us some premonitions. We're damned if we choose to close our eyes to it!" Jeff held the car door for her, but she refused to get in.
"The Goddess should know we're not strong for the Outlanders attack!" She snorted.
