Chapter 15: Meeting The Elders

Danielle's POV:

Baby you light up my world like nobody else,

The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed,

I woke from my ringtone. I cannot believe somebody is calling me four in the morning. Who the hell could that be? Because of my sleepyhead, I didn't mind whoever is calling me. I just put my phone in silent and head back to sleep. It was already noon when I woke up but I'm too lazy to do anything. So, I just lay on my bed for about thirty more minutes when I decided to head for a shower.

After shower, I head down and when straight to the kitchen when I saw two familiar couple. "Mom, Dad" I said hugging my parent. "Aunt Sheila, Uncle Dave” I greeted as I hug them as well. Aunt Sheila and Uncle Dave were Knight's Parents. "I missed my girl so much." I mother told me. Even though I'm not their real daughter, I can feel that they count me as one.

"How's my princess?" my dad asked shaking my hair well like ruining it. “Hey, no touchy.” I said, as I playfully glared at him. Please be advised that I don’t want anyone touching my hair or ruining it. If you do, you just earn a ticket to hell. I mean it.

"We are so sorry that we didn't tell you our secret?" Sheila said, looking down. "It's okay Aunt Sheila, I was shocked at first. But thanks to Knight, I was able to patch things up." I said and she nodded.

"We have to thank the rogues. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't get bitten. And, Lockette would still be mad at me." Knight teased. "Oh shut up!" Darylle teased. "I'm just glad that my daughter is happy with us." My dad said as he hugged me. "I will always love you no matter whom or what you are." I said, hugging him back.

I just missed being in my dad's arm so I didn't pull away. But without noticing it, someone just pulled me away from my dad. Since I felt the sparks, definitely it was Sky. "Mine!" he growled as Shine and I think another couple walked in.

"What's going on here?" the man asked. "Mine" Sky growled again facing them and because of that my parents, Knight's Parent and the other couple gasped.

"I can't believe that you found your mate. I'm so happy.” Sky and Shine's mother squealed. Yes! You got that right; the other couple was Sky and Shine's Parents. My mom throws me a hug. "I can't believe that Sky is your mate." She said, pulling away from me.

Hello, I was feeling a bit pressured here. I don't like this feeling at all. "So son, have you guys ma-" but Sky cut his dad by giving him a glare. That’s weird. His Parents, Knight's Parent and My Parent nodded at Sky.

"So Danielle, I'm Tanya and this is Tommy, pointing the guy next to her. We just wanted to say thank you for accepting not just our Son but us being werewolves." Tanya said.

“Well... you see Mrs. Smith-" She interrupted me. "Please call me Tanya." She said and I nodded as continued. "You see Tanya, I was shocked at first and I got carried away. I actually called them monster but as Knight explains it, I'd understand. It was hard keeping a secret like that."

"I'm glad that you accepted my son." Tommy said and with those words, I saw Sky blushed and let me tell you, he was just so cute. "To tell you the truth Tommy, I'm still in the process of this mate thing. So, it’s really hard for me.”

We spend the day getting to know each other and it was just fun. I got know more stuffs about them. I never thought that my parents were the best fighters in their generations. Now you know where I got my martial art skills. To be honest, meeting their parents nervous at first but I think I can manage it.

They decided to have a simple gathering just to cope things up. I guess I have no choice but to hang with them. But right now, let me first go to my favorite hang out to relax for a bit. I was leaning in one of the trees admiring the beauty surrounding me. It was so peaceful, I just love it. Then I familiar voice called my name which sends spark right down through my spines.

I turn and saw Sky who is standing so I offered him to sit down next to me. "You okay?" he asked. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't even tell him that I felt so nervous whenever I spoke to his parent. So, I just gave him a nod but he wasn't buying it. "Fine, I just felt nervous whenever I talked to your parents. I do like talking to them but I just felt that I’m being pressured.” I said, putting my hand up for surrender. Sky took my hand and smiled. "Don't worry, I will always be here. I already told them everything so you wouldn't feel the pressure."

Isn’t he sweet? Can I have my own Crypton Sky Smith? Oh, wait, he is mine. Hold up Danielle Lockette Everdyn, what did you just said? It was probably nothing, everything was just stress. Breathe in and breathe out. Inhale and exhale. You can do it. Just don’t forget, he is waiting for your response.

"Thanks!" I said, giving him a peck on his cheeks. We both blush when I did that. We head back to the pack house and spend the day getting to know each other, I mean Sky getting to know my parents while I get to know his same goes for Knight and Shine.
