Chapter 18: Marks and Mating Process

Danielle's POV:

"Marks and Mating Process, What's that?” I asked with a confused looked on my face. They all looked at me shocked. "Way to go Xander." Darylle said. "I actually did that on purpose." Knight smirked as they all look at him with disbelief.

"Did what on purpose?" I asked again with my eye brow up. "Knight”

“Lockette, I love to tell you but I'll let Sky do the talking." He said, pointing at Sky. "Sky" I said as I looked at him. “This outta be good." I heard Knight said and the rest are like looking at me with a teasing look but I just ignore it and focused on Sky.

Sky, on the other, is blushing. I feel like that he is going to collapse anytime soon. “OH MY GOD, HIS FACE IS PRICELESS!" Shine yelled. ”Tell me what's going on? And, what is this marking and mating process?" I said.

"Dun, dun, dun, dun" Darylle said, pretending that there was a piano in front of him while the others starts laughing. “Okay" Sky said rubbing his face. “What do you want to know?" he asked. "Everything, what is this mark and mating process thing." I said in a duh tone. Sky took a big gulped. "Guys would bite their mate’s neck." He slowly said.

"HE WOULD WHAT ON MY WHAT?" I said, holding my neck.

"He would bite your neck; Mark means that a guy would bite their mate's neck. The mark is also a symbol that the guy is claiming his mate. It is also a warning to some mate less wolf that she taken.”'

"So, you're not just any Jacob Black but some Edward Cullen as well." I teased and they chuckled. "Wait! Do Vampires exist?"

"NO!" They say in unison and looked at me with a "are you crazy" look. ”Just asking. You guys exist so I thought there are vampires too." putting my hands up. They all start laughing at me. "Does that hurt, I mean biting your neck. You could be dead? Or you could turn also into a wolf? They complete gave me another "are you crazy" look.

"No, you would not be dead and no, you would not turn into a wolf. Those are just in movies." Shine explain in between her laughs. "Very funny!" popping out a "p" " then how there are so many of you?" I asked.

"Because we can give not just one but many pups." Xaria said "I have like two brother."

"Pups" I asked with confused. "BABIES" Knight explained and I shrugged. "Moving on, what about this mating process? What is it about? I asked.

They all looked at Sky with a teasing smirked again. Sky looked at me with blushing cheeks and I gave me a one eye brow up "So..."

"When the guy bites their mate’s neck, his scent will get mix up in her scent and to complete it, they must do the mating process or what you called.... Sky starts blushing..... s*x! And, then that's it your scent would be complete mix in your mates scents."

I did not know what just happen but I can feel my eyes are wide open and my cheeks are much redder than a tomato. "That's a new.... weird... info for me. And since, I'm your mate does that mean?" I didn't finish my question but he already answered it by nodding.

"And, what if I don't like to be bitten on my neck? To be honest, it’s totally weird someone would just bite your neck?" I asked with a serious tone.

Sky eyes turn into a sad eyes but he quickly cover it up. It's a wolf thing but I'm willing to wait. Even it takes long time.” He said. "Just make sure your wolf doesn't get horny." Darylle joked with that Sky began to blush again. Let me tell you, he is so cute when his blushing while the others start to laugh.

"Okay, that enough info for today." I said standing up and head towards the kitchen. "Where are you going?" Knight asked "Kitchen.” I yelled. “Why?" Darylle asked. "To make some snacks for the kids. They would be waking up soon."

I just finished making some toast garlic bread. Now, I am making an orange juice and milk for Charlotte when I felt arms were wrapped around from behind. Feeling the sparks I already knew who it was.

"Six... is definitely hot." he whispers.

I tried to ignore the chills and sparks plus his god damn sexy voice and just focus on my work. I tried not to blush knowing that I love the feeling when I'm close to him.... and hold up Danielle, what are you saying? Are falling for him? Are you ready to believe in love again? But most of all are you to trust someone with your heart?

I turn around and face him giving him my smile "Hey! I'm just saying." I laugh. Just then Jace, Jared, and Chacha came and sat at the counter. "I've made some snacks. Do you guys want some?" I asked the kids and they all nodded. I gave them each when I heard a cry, I quickly excuse myself and went upstairs to get Charlotte.

"This Garlic Bread is the best Danielle!" Jace said taking the last bite. "Thanks! Do you want some more?" He nodded. After I gave another piece to Jace I look at Jared who took his last bite. "How about you Jared?" He also nodded so I gave him some more.

"How come you’re not eating Danielle?" Chacha asked with full concerned, she is so sweet "I'm still feeding Charlotte with milk so maybe I'll eat later." I smiled.

Jace took some bread. "Danielle!" I turn to him, "Open up." offering the bread. I wanted to refuse but maybe I will hurt his feeling I refuse it. So, I did what he asked. I open my mouth then he place the bread inside.

"Thanks Jace." I smiled, pinching his cheeks. I could tell he is blushing already. "You’re welcome." He said.

Jared called my name so I face him he showed me some bread. I'm guessing what he wants so I open my mouth then he place the bread inside. "Thanks Jared." I smiled, also pinching his cheeks and right you are. He too blushed.

While Sky on the other hand kept on glaring and growling at the twins while the others are trying not to laugh at him. Possessive I tell you, every time the twins did something sweet he kept on growling. I tell if Jace and Jared are not kids, they are in trouble but of course they enjoy pissing Sky.

After the snacks we went outside to play soccer then dodge ball then running around until we are all exhausted.
