Chapter 4: Black Winter and Silver Cresent

Danielle's POV:

"Lockette, I want you to meet Darylle, Kyle, Jaden, and I think you already know Trevor. Guys! This is Danielle Lockette Everdyn but you can call her Danielle" Knight said as he introduces me to four hot guys. They all reach out and shake my hands and seriously they are all good looking guys. "Yes! I remember him" I smiled as I shake Trevor's hand. "I'm sorry that I didn't introduce myself that day."

"What Trevor! You didn't tell us that you met a beautiful girl" Jaden said.

Knight cleared his throat all us turn to him. He gave a glare at the four boys who kind of confused me because when I turn to them they all look down and said sorry at the same time. "No! It's Okay!" I told them just to break the silence. The four of them face me and smile.

"Okay! Since you will be classmate in some subjects, I want the four of you to take good care of her!" Knight told them. "Can I see your schedule?" Darylle asked. I hand him my schedule and the four of them looked at my schedule. "Cool! We will be classmates in all period." Darylle said as he handed me back my schedule while I on the other hand, gave him a fake smiled. "Nice!"

"Darylle please take good care of Lockette and make sure she will be okay all time" Knight said, in a protective tone. Darylle nodded and gave him an assured yes. I look at Knight and I know that he could see some fear in my eyes so he put his arms around my shoulder. "Don't worry! I know that this time you will be fine and besides, we are classmate in the first period so you don't have to worry." He whispered in my ear.

I nodded and he gave me a hug to calm me down. When the four guys notice that we were hugging them all cleared their throat so loud that some of the students turned to us. We both loose the grip but Knight keeps his arms around my shoulder and pulled him closer to me. I can see that Darylle, Jaden and Kyle are so confused right now. Jaden was about to say something when Kyle cut him.

"What a great scene Danielle! I never saw anyone have guts to take Gwen down." Kyle smirked. We all laughed at his comment. "To be honest, I never thought that I have the guts but I guess when it comes to him; I can really be a monster." I answered back as I point to Knight.

"I can't also believe that Xander dated her." Jaden said but we all know that he was just teasing Knight because Gwen has a crush on him. "Hey! I never dated her and I didn't like her as well." Knight defended. I crossed my arms and look at him "Oh really! Then how come you didn't pushed her when she was about to kissed you." I teased.

Knight gave me a smirked "Because I know that you would protect me." He said. I punch his chest but not that hard. "Speaking of which, you owe me big-time." I said. "Anything for my sister" he said as puts his hands around my shoulder. Kyle, Jaden, Darylle looked shocked.

"Wait, your sister?" Darylle asked in disbelief. I was about to explain it when Trevor cut me. "Actually, they are best friend but they treat each other like a brother and a sister." The three of them gave an "o" while Trevor, Knight and I chuckled. "So you are not Xander's ma- I mean girlfriend" Darylle said.

I felt like he was about to say something but since I didn't care, I just nodded to him instead. "But, you just said that you're his girlfriend and you were both sweet and I can't get the picture." Kyle said who is still confused. I put my hand on my hips and I explain every detail to them. Good thing that they are good listeners. I didn't have a hard time explaining to them.

Just after I finished explaining to them the school bell rang and we all went to our first period. The first period was about Myths and it is really interesting since I am a fan of Greek Mythology. The first period wasn't so bad because Knight, Darylle, Trevor, Kyle, and Jaden are my classmate in the first period. Except, for the part that you have to introduce yourself.

"Hi! My name is Danielle Lockette Everdyn! But just call me Danielle or Dani! I said, as I introduce myself in front. "Can I call you Lockette?" One guy said. "Ahh No!" I smiled. "Why not? That's a pretty unique name." he answered. "Thanks! But that name is for somebody else." I answered back.

The guy was about to answer back when the teacher interrupt. "That's enough class. Further question can be asked after my class." He said. "Again, nice to meet you Miss Everdyn. You may take your seat." Mr. Waters, the teacher said.

I nodded and went back to my seat. "Okay! We will be discussing about Gods and Goddesses." Mr. Waters told the class. "I'm hungry!" Darylle told me. "Hang in there. It's already lunch time." I said looking at my watch.

The boys and I are going to have lunch together so Darylle and I are waiting for them. "Uhm hey, I'm just going to take this to my locker! I'll be back. I said. "Wait! I'll come with you." Darylle said. "No! It's fine. It will not take long" I answer.

"But I promise Xander that I'll be with you anywhere." He said. "If I say that I will be going to the ladies room?" I asked with one eyebrow up. "Then I'll be waiting outside" He answered. "Are you serious?" I asked, not believing on what I just heard. "It's an order from Xander." He said with a serious tone. Wow! I never thought that Knight could be so powerful.

I chuckled on his answer but knowing Knight, I guess I have no choice. "I'll be back, I promise" I assured him. Even though he didn't want to but he had no choice. Instead he told that I must be back after five minutes.

Weird and demanding!

I put all the books inside my locker and grab the once for the next period. "Hi! There" a voice said from behind. I got shocked from his voice and I turn around as I closed my locker.

"Hi! There!" I said putting my hand on my chest. I saw six lads but what catches my eye most is the guy with midnight black hair and electric blue eyes. Man! this guys is so hot. Hotter than Liam, but of course Liam will always be the number one for me.

"Sorry if scared you. I'm Ranz by the way." He said as he reaches his hand. I nodded and smiled at them "It's Okay! I'm Danielle!" I said, shaking his hand. He loses his grip and pointed to his friends as he introduce them. "This is Ash, Mark, Eddie, Helius, and Brandon." He said. They all wave at me and I did the same thing.

"We are the Silver Cresent Pack and we welcome you to our school." Ranz said. I gave them a fake smile and a confused look. I'm not quite sure if they notice it. "Wow! It's a unique name for a group!" I said. Some of them smiled and some of them smirked which really confused me. Is there something I said? Honestly! they may be hot but they are very weird.

"Do you want to have lunch with us." Ranz asked. "Sorry! Someone is waiting for me. I got to go now. Maybe next time. It was nice meeting you though." I said.

Before I could turn around, someone grab my arms. I quickly turn to see the person. Surprisingly, it was Ranz and he is very angry. I take back what I said before. Ranz is creeping me out. I tried to loosen his grip but it turns out his tightens it even harder.

"Let go of me Ranz!" I said, still trying to loosen his grip. Students are watching us. Some looked scared to go near him. I can't believe this guy. What's his deal?

"Let go of me!" I repeated. But the more I try, the more he tightens his grip. He reminded of Michael, if Michael is mad, he would tighten his grip on me. Speaking of him, Ranz's grip was the same as Michael's grip when he was about to r***d me. I felt tears forming in my eyes. I can see in his eyes, full of anger.

"I will not take a NO for an answer." he said as he tightens his grip even harder. I was about to scream when I heard a familiar voice. "What part of letting her go do you not understand". Suddenly, I saw was a fist straight into Ranz's face.

Ranz got hit so hard; he fall down which made him lost his grip. I turn to face who punch him and a saw Knight! An angry Knight who was about to kill him. Knight pulled me closer to him and we both turn to Ranz who is now bleeding.

Knight is so angry, he could kill him. I can see that his knuckles are bleeding. That's a pretty hard punch. "DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH HER AGAIN!." Knight said in an attack mode. Knight was about to punch him again when I hold his arms. "Knight, Stop please!" I said. He turns to face me and gave me a sorry look. We both decided to leave them and went to the cafeteria.

Xander's POV:

Lockette is now putting some ice at my knuckles. She hasn't talk to me since we got inside the cafeteria. She hasn't even touched her food yet. She was just focusing on my knuckles. If Lockette is quiet, she is either upset or mad. Sometimes it’s both.

Her left hand was holding my arm while the other was holding some ice. I took that opportunity to hold both for her hands and pulled her closer to me. I know eyes are on us but I just don't care. She looked at my eyes "Lockette! I'm so sorry. I'm- “but I was cut.

Lockette hugged me. "Thanks Knight! Thank for being the best friend ever." she said as she kissed my cheeks. I felt a tear drop on me as I hugged her. "Lockette, What happen?" I asked. "Michael" she said, wiping her tears.

I loosen my grip and looked at her but she didn't look at me. "The way Ranz hold on me, it was just like Michael when he was about to r***d me" She said. I hugged her again "Don't worry! I'll protect you. I promise that no one will hurt you again." I said. "Thanks Knight" she whispered as she hugged me. I smiled at her and started to notice people. "Is it just me or is everybody staring at us?" she asked. We both turn around. Everyone is staring at us. We both looked at each other and laughed.

Just like old times....
