Chapter 19: Thunder, Stories and Farewell

Danielle's POV:

Because we are all exhausted, we decided to order some pizza for dinner. Some movie would be nice.

So, here I am brushing Chacha's hair. I can't believe that I was the first one to brush it. Of course, I did some fishtail braid on her. She wouldn't stop giggling every time I tell her that she looks pretty.

We decided to watch Harry Potter for the kids and Yes, I'm in between the twins. Jace was on my left while Jared was on my right and the girls... they are sitting on my lap, Charlotte was at the right while Chacha was on the left.

Could you imagine our position, for me, I don't care. As long as there comfortable then I'm okay with it.

We'd finish watching Harry Potter when Chacha, Jace, Jared and Charlotte fell asleep so I ask again Trevor, Jaden, and Kyle to carry them up to the room before they went to bed. I looked at the sleeping kids before I kissed their foreheads and head down back to the living room to clean up our mess. Correction, It was the children's mess.

I was wiping the stains from the couch when I felt some arms were wrapped behind me. I turn around and my guessing is right. It was Sky, who looks cute wearing a pajama and a plain white fitted shirt. You could totally see his 8 pack and muscle that girls would go hungry for, if I may add.

I didn't notice that I was staring at his abs for like five minutes. I mean, I saw Knight's 8 pack abs like a gazillion times and I can go for a day without noticing that he was shirtless but to Sky, what's happening to me?

"Are you done staring at this?" He smirked. I quickly felt my cheek as red as a hot chili pepper. "I wasn't staring." I said looking down, trying to avoid some eye contact with him. He quickly put his arms around my waist again and pulls me close.

"Don't be embarrassed. They are only for you. You’re the one and only person who could look and have this." he said with a serious tone and face but suddenly he smirked. "Very funny" I said as I playfully slapped his chest. Just then, it started to rain very hard. Plus, some thunders. Sky and I heard some little voice screaming coming down.

We saw Chacha running towards us crying so I picked her up. "What's wrong? Are you afraid of thunder?" I asked, trying to calm her down. She wiped her tears then nodded. I kissed her forehead. "Do you want to sleep with me and charlotte in my room tonight?" I asked again. Charlotte will be sleeping in my room so I can guard her when she's asleep. Chacha nodded again. "Can I get my teddy bear first?" She asked. I smile and nodded then I put her down, she ran upstairs while I'd look at Sky who looks sad.... very sad... pouting his lips.

I cupped his cheek and my place forehead on his. "I'll make it up to you. I promise. Sky holds both of my hands as leans down, down, down, just when our lips are about to touch, a crack of thunder interrupted follow little masculine voice calling my name.

"Danielle! Danielle! Can we sleep in your room tonight?" The twins asked with matching puppy face. I smiled at the twins and nodded, they gave each other a high five then rush toward me to give a hug . "Thanks!" Jace whispered. We pulled apart and I kissed them on their foreheads. "You go ahead. I'll be right behind you." I said as they went upstairs.

I looked at Sky who is half blushing and half angry. Why? Because he kept glaring at the twin with a jealous face which I find it cute. The Alpha is jealous with the two kids.

I smiled at him and peck his cheeks. "Good Night" I said as I went upstairs.

Charlotte is fast asleep while the three is arguing about a book. Seriously, they are fight over a book? "What’s wrong?" I asked with full concern. "We were fighting who will be sleeping next to you." Chacha said crossing her arm over her chest. I giggled and sat on the bed. "How about Jace will be on my left and Jared will be on the right and Chacha can be on my lap?"

They didn't say anything but because they went towards me, I'll say they'd agree.

“Stories, read us some stories." Chacha said as she sat on my lap. "I want stories about werewolves." Jared said as he lay down. "I want some Blacksmith." Jace debated on the other side. "Princess" Chacha yelled.

These are really something. I just wanted to laugh at their goofiness. Sibling’s fights are the best fight ever. Too bad, I don’t have siblings. But since I have Knight, I have a brother.

How about a story about a princess who will turn into a werewolf and one who will save her is a blacksmith" They all agree with me

"Okay, once upon a time. I started the story.

"And, they all live happily ever after. The End," I finished the story with the children fast asleep. I was leaning at the bed header while Chacha was on my lap, the twin was each on my side and Charlotte was in her crib next to my bed. I can't sleep because of our position but seeing the kids fast asleep with a smile on their faces, everything was totally worth it.

They are just so cute and so adorable. They are like little angels sleeping next to me. My eyes are getting a little bit drowsy so I'll try my best to have a best sleep regardless to my uncomfortable position.

Sky's POV:

I woke up 7:30 in the morning. To be honest, I really don't have much sleep last night thinking about my mate and how she will handle my cousins. What if she's having a hard time or what if she couldn't sleep? And, what if- Daemon cut in. "What if you stand up, go to her room and checked her out. That would be great!"

"Silly wolf" I muttered. “Since I'm silly then same goes with you." Daemon teased.

I was already at her door when I heard at knock; I quickly went down to check who it was. I’m surprise to see that Autumn, Xander, Xaria, Darylle, Trevor, Kyle and Jaden are already in the living room with Danielle and Xander's Parent.

I also saw Aunt Layla and Uncle Ace; they are Charlotte, Chacha, Jace and Jared's Parent along with my parent who came out in the kitchen holding some tray of coffee and French bread. "Good Morning" Autumn greeted me with a smile. "Where's Danielle?" May asked.

"Asleep!" I answered. "How are Jace, Jared, Chacha and Charlotte? I hope they didn't give you a hard time?" Uncle Ace asked. "Let's just say that we are glad Danielle is here with us." Darylle said. The elders got confused. "What do you mean?" my mom asked with full concern. "Chacha and Charlotte were so cute but Jace and Jared was a pain to ahem Sky." Jaden chuckled and they laugh except for me and the elders.

"What did my boys do?" Aunt Layla asked me. "Your boys is fancying or should I say has a crush on Danielle, his mate. He couldn't stop glaring at the twins." Jaden answered. They burst a laugh at me while I rolled my eyes on them. "You should see his face, It was very priceless.” Kyle joined in.

"Don't forget the part where Danielle kissed them. Sky was about to erupted." Trevor told them holding his stomach to keep them from laughing. "She kissed them?" My mom asked. "She kissed them on the cheeks." Autumn explained. "Why does she do that?" James asked. "Danielle promises the twins that if they eat and finished their vegetables, Danielle would kiss them." Xaria said.

"So, that means?" Aunt Layla and Uncle Ace both said with their eye so wide. "Yup, Chacha, Jace and Jared ate their vegetables." Xander said proudly. The couple couldn't believe in what they've heard. "Where is she? I wanted to thank her." Aunt Layla said standing up.

"She's upstairs. I think she's still asleep." I said. "Then, I'll go see my kids?" She said as she grabs her bag. “Oh yeah, they are not in their room." I said standing up. Aunt Layla gave me a confused looked.

"They are in Danielle's room." I clarified. "Let's take a look, shall we?" Uncle Ace said with that cue we all stand up and went to see Danielle. I did a soft knock on her door and since no one answered, I slowly twist the knob to open the door. Once the elders and I got inside Danielle's room, we just couldn't believe in what we saw. I quickly mind link the other to have a look. Seconds past when Xander, Autumn, Xaria, Darylle, Trevor, Kyle and Jaden came and they too were shocked in what they saw.

My Mate is sitting on her bed, leaning on the bed header, asleep while Chacha was on her lap, she uses Danielle's chest as a pillow fast asleep as well, the twins Jace and Jared were each on her side and Charlotte was on her crib next to Danielle's bed. We stared them for two minutes when Danielle starts to move. I'm guessing she is already awake.

Danielle's POV:

I slowly open my eyes as I try not to disturb the kids. To my surprise, I saw my parents, Knight's parent, Sky and Shine's parents and a couple whom I'm guessing Jace, Jared, Chacha and Charlotte's parent. I tell because of their resemblance.Knight Shine, Xaria, Darylle, Trevor, Kyle, Jaden and Sky were all staring at me like I have grown three heads.

I try my best not to move or else the kids would wake up but because of everyone staring at me, I accidently moved my body which made them open their eyes. "Mom, Dad?" Chacha yawned as she rubs her eyes.

"Goodbye Danielle. Thanks for taking good care for my kids. It's too bad that we just got to know each other for a very short time." Layla said as she hugged me. "I know, I hope we could see each other someday." We pull apart and I went to hug my parents.

The elders are leaving already because for their business or shall I say "mission" for the pack so that leaves the house for us. "I'll miss you." I hugged them. My dad looks at Sky. "Take good care of my daughter." He said as he reaches his hand. Sky shook my dad's hand. “I will sir.”

We waved goodbye as they drove off. "So what are we going to do?" Darylle asked. "PARTY AT THE CLUB" Shine and Xaria yelled.
