Chapter 13: Rumors and Making it up

Danielle's POV:

Saturday Horror Movie Marathon was the best night ever. I’m a little bit disappointed at myself because I can’t believe that I’ve fallen asleep and I woke on Sky's room. Correction, he slept on the couch while I slept on his bed. I felt terrible for him because he doesn't look comfortable sleeping on the couch. So, I just cover him with a blanket and left him a note saying;

Sorry that you have to sleep on your couch. I know you're uncomfortable I’ll just cover you with a blanket and I'll make it up to you on Monday.

Rumors are spreading so fast. What do I mean? The talk of the school is that me and Sky are dating. I mean, we are not totally dating. We are just getting to know each other.

Of course, don’t forget girls giving me this jealous glare. Sorry to burst your bubbles girls, Sky is mine and I'm his so, wait did I just said that? What I meant was, we were just getting to know each other so HA! Just go home and cry. But some girls are tough, them threatening me. Well guess what, who got scared? That's right THEM!

They got scared because if they think that I'm just a weakling, they are so wrong. I've been taking martial arts for five years so I know how to beat some ass. I was getting some stuff my from locker when I hear someone clearing their throat, I turn to see who was that and surprise, I saw the girl that I just wish not seeing for the rest of my life. "Gwen"

She gave a glare as usual, so I gave one back. "What do you want?" I asked putting my hands on my hip. Obviously, I don't want to see or talk to her but eventually I had no choice. "Stop this nonsense play." She said pointing at me. "Stop flirting with the guys. First Xander now Sky. Hell, pretending to be nice and sweet. But deep down inside, you are w***e and a slut.

She has officially lost it. I couldn't help but look at her with my eyebrows up; she’s been acting like a lunatic. And, some point, I don't know if she's on drugs or something.

"What's going on here?" A voice yelled. We both look and saw Shine, Xaria and Brier followed by Sky, Knight, Darylle, Trevor, Kyle, and Jaden. Since the boys are here, girls started the fan-girl mode which make Xaria and Shine glare at them.

Sky approaches me saying. "Danielle you okay? I couldn't help but blushed. I felt deep down, inside of me was screaming "Wahhhhhhhh!" curse this mate thing. Trying not to humiliate myself, I just nodded.

"I can't believe that you’re dating this slut." Gwen said, pointing at me. With those words, Sky grinding his teeth and clenching his jaw, let's not forget those eyes of his wanted to change. Luckily, no humans notice it. Otherwise it would been the talk of the school

Gwen notices it so she took a step back. I can say that she is in deep trouble. "Talk to her like that and I swear, I will rip those throats out of you." Sky said, more like his wolf. Sky eyes returned to its normal sea blue eyes when someone shouted. "What the hell did you do this time?" And, what a surprise it was Ranz and his pack.

"Just tell her to leave us alone." Sky said facing Ranz. Ranz glared at Gwen but nodded back at Sky. Gwen walked out in the middle of Sky and Ranz agreement. Childish! So, everything was fine, Gwen walked out and surprisingly, I'd notice Ranz stared at Brier a few minutes before they left. Believe me, It wasn't just any stare but something different.

My thoughts were interrupted when someone holds my hand and because of the sparks, I knew it was Sky. He definitely looks hot when he smiled. After school Sky asked me if I'd like to have some coffee. "I don't like coffee but I'll do anything for a hot sweet chocolate" I teased. He chuckled and we head down to a cafe. Once we were inside, I can see there are a lot of girls checking him out. I don't know why but my blood is boiling. I’m getting jealous! "I think we should go!" I said with a hint of irritation. Sky gave me a confused look but agreed.

The road was silent. Completely silent, you could hear a pin drop. What is happening to me? I know that I told myself that I would make it up to him. But why does girls need to check on him. Why am I acting like this and why am I being jealous. I’m not the type of person who easily get jealous; however, when it comes to Sky, everything changed.

"You Okay?" Sky cut me. I looked at him and nodded followed by a weak smile. He may or may not notice it. Sky suddenly pull over and stopped the car. I guess he noticed it. "Why are we stopping?" I asked in a confused looked.

“I just wanted to know you’re okay?" he asked worried. “I'm fine." I lied. Somehow Sky can sense that I’m lying. He places his hand on mine. "I know you are lying. I know that something's bothering you." he pleaded. Curse their werewolf powers.

"Fine" I said, putting my hands in the air for surrender. "I'm sorry about earlier. I told you that I would make it up to you but because what I felt earlier in the cafe I felt bad." I said looking down. He lifts my chin up and smiled. "Look, I understand. To be honest, I also don't like that guys checking you out." he smirked.

"Really? Guys are checking me out? Why would they check me out? "I asked unsure. “That’s a first.”

“Danielle, you are beautiful. Any guy will be so god damn lucky to have you. And, for the record, they are totally checking you out. And, I hate it.” He said.

I was speechless. I can’t find the right words to say to him. I stared at him for a few seconds and when I was about to say something, it started to rain. That gave me an idea!

I smiled at him while he looked at me with a confused look. "I know how to make it up to you." I said.

Sky's POV:

Danielle smiled at me while I gave her a confused looked. "I know how to make it up to you." she said. I, on the other hand, didn't say anything. I just stared at her as she unbuckled her seatbelt and went outside. Danielle opens the driver’s door, grab my hand and drag me out of my car.

Now, we are both soaking wet. But I don't care, because in front of me is a beautiful girl with a crystal blue eyes looking at my sea blue eyes smiling at me. I felt like we were the only ones there. I felt that everything stops at that very moment. "You know that we are both soaking wet." I teased and she giggled "I told you that I'll make it up to you." she smiled. I was so busy staring at my mate; I didn't notice that she hold my hand until I felt some sparks. I tried to ignore it as I put my other hand on her cheeks and lean down until finally our lips were connected.
