Chapter 6: Forgiving Them

Danielle's POV:

I was with Knight the whole time. Food wasn't calling me and beside I don't feel like eating anyway.

Let me tell you something, I couldn't stop thinking about that hug. I mean, it's just a hug with a spark in it. I didn't even know him. All I know is that he looks like a male version of Shine. So probably that’s her twin brother. If I remember, his name is Sky.

Shine loves to talk about him. So I became curious, however, so won’t let me see his picture. She said it’s better not to see his photo. So I did the same with Knight, I told her everything about Knight and never show his photo.

Back to subject Danielle, you don't know him, so don’t trust him. Maybe the reason why you hug him is because you’re upset! Yeah that's right! You are just upset. I looked at Knight; I just hope and pray that he will forgive me.

My eyes are kind of drowsy when I felt something was put on my shoulders. I turn to look at it when I saw Darylle putting a blanket over me.

“Thanks!" I smiled hoping he won’t notice my red cheeks. He sat beside me and smiled. "You ok?" he asked. “For the fact, that you guys are wolves! I think I can handle it." I replied. We both chuckled. "I -uhm I’m sorry for shouting and calling you guys monsters. I hope you could forgive me? I said looking at floor.

“It's okay. We understand and we too are sorry for not telling you." he said. "We?" I asked in a confused tone as I looked at him.

"Yes! You see, we have this mind link where we can communicate using our minds" he explained. “I see.” I said as I looked at Knight. “Knight was about to tell the second day I got here. But, I guess because he knows that I’m going through something. Everything is my fault.”

“It’s not your fault Danielle. Everything is just an accident.” Darylle said, trying to lift my spirits up. “Not all everything are accidents!” I answered back as I looked at him turn back to Knight.

Why don't you eat first" he said changing the topic. I shake my head. “I'm not that hungry" I told him and he gave me a weird look. "What?" I asked. "You haven't moved a muscle the moment you step in this room and you have the guts to tell me that you are not hungry?" He said and I nodded.

Darylle is still looking at me with an “I don't get you look”. I looked at Knight for a second. “All I care is Knight and I couldn't just leave him knowing that I’m reason why he is in here." I said turning back to him.

Darylle and I talked for hours, he was able to tell me the first day Knight found out that he was a wolf. He also told me that Knight always tells stories about me and how lucky he is to be part of my life. That moment, I felt that I could trust him so I also told him that my real parents abandon me left with soaking wet. He was shocked when found out. I also told me about Michael planning to r***d me that it was the reason why I’m here.

Darylle was all ears listening to me. I told him not to tell anybody because I only tell my stories to those people I truly trust and those people right now are Knight, Shine and him.

I can say to myself that I did the right thing letting him in my life. Darylle puts his arms around my shoulder and pull me close to him. "It's going to be okay. So why don't you rest?" he said. I nodded and smiled back at him. He kissed me on the forehead and whispered. "good night" and left.

Xander's POV:

Waking up, I felt someone holding my hand and surprise it was Lockette sleeping. I tried to sit up and trying my best not to wake her up but my sudden movement woke her up.

She got up and helped me "Knight! You okay? Do you need anything? Are you hungry? I'll go get you something to eat." she said, trying to avoid eye contact so I quickly grabbed her arms when she about to turn around. She turned around and stared at me, I pat the other side of the bed, offering her to sit beside me. She did as I told her without saying a word. The moment she was on bed, I hugged her tight.

"Lockette I'm sorry!" I told her but she shakes her head and cupped her hands on my cheeks. "No! I'm sorry! I'm the reason why you got hurt. I shouldn't have gone into the woods in the first place." She said.

"It’s not your fault. I told you that I won't let anyone or anything hurt you. I'm so sorry that I didn't tell that I'm a wolf! I got scared." I told her at all honesty as I holding her hands.

She smiled and kisses my forehead "I love you" she said. I kissed her forehead. "I love you too! And I' m sorry!” He leans on my shoulders. "You know I can't say mad at you.’ I teased. “But, you must promise that you are going to tell me everything" She said. I chuckled and nodded. "So! Were cool?" I asked knowing the answer. She kissed my cheeks " Wait right here, I'll make you some breakfast.” She said as stood up and went downstairs.

“You know that I’m injured right?!” I shouted, more like making a joke. While I was eating my breakfast, Lockette decide to take a shower and she asks me if she could borrow a shirt so I nodded. She went into my closet and took out my favorite black printed shirt. I cleared my throat but she just sticks her tongue out and there's nothing I could do. Minutes gone, I decided to take a bath because I seriously hate the smell of sickness.

Lockette and I both head down to check if anyone is up. We went straight to the kitchen where we saw Darylle, Trevor, Kyle, and Jaden eating some pancakes.

"These are the best pancakes ever! By the way, you are so forgiven."Darylle said with a full mouth. We sat beside Darylle when I notice a note on a table

"Sorry if I used your kitchen without permission but anyways I made pancakes and If you got hungry there is a lot for everyone! GOOD MORNING!

P.S. My Peace Offering for calling you guys Monsters! I'm sorry and I hope you could all forgive me!"

Danielle

"Peace offering?" I asked with one eyebrow up. "Yup, But it was nothing!" Kyle said, taking a bite. "It was something and I'm sorry. I didn't mean to call you monsters. “Lockette said, looking down. “I told you! It was nothing and beside you need to eat because you didn’t even touch the fo-" Darylle said but Lockette cut him by covering his mouth.

"Lockette" I warned. She looked at me and gave me a faked smiled "Yes!" she said, sweetly. I didn't say anything but I just gave her a glare. "Fine! I didn't eat yesterday because I was worried sick about you" she said, trying to avoid contacts.

I got up and took some pancakes. "Here! Eat this! And, please next time don't ever try skipping a meal." I said in a protective tone. She looked at me smiled and nodded. "I want you to meet someone.”Lockette said, finishing the last piece on her plate. "Who?" I asked. I was shocked when Lockette told me that she knew Sky's twin sister. "Her name is Shine and she is single, available and beautiful" I said with excitement. It was the first time she is excited in describing a girl and that only means thing she wanted to date her.

I was about to say something when I smell an intoxicating scent it was a scent of strawberries and chocolates. "Mate" Ryder, my wolf growled. I turn around a saw a girl, about our age, a girl with hazel brown hair with and a pair of sea blue eyes, a female version of Sky.

"Shine" Lockette said, giving her a hug and she hug her back. "So let's go!" she said. "Wait! Where are you going?" I asked, standing up. "Shine is going to tour me around. I can go with her please!" Lockette replied with matching puppy eyes. As much as I love to get to know my mate and I guess I have no choice. I rolled my eye “Okay!"

“Yehey” She screamed and hugged me. "Thank you Knight!" I promise I'll be good" she said, kissing my cheeks. I nodded and they both left. ”Dude, you okay?” Trevor asked. “I just met my mate.” I answered, but still in shocked. “SHINE IS YOUR MATE?” They call said in unison and I nodded.

“And, Danielle knows Shine?” Kyle asked and I nodded. “They are roommates.” I told him.

“Is it just me or is it coincidence?” Jaden asked.

“About what”

Jaden was about answered when Darylle beats him “That they know each other.” He answered but I felt that he is hiding something. “You okay Darylle?” I asked. “I am great!” He smiled. He is so weird.

Shine's POV:

Walking into to the kitchen, I can’t stop thinking that Danielle is Crypton’s Mate. I’m so happy for him. All this time, my roommate was is mate. I guess it was a surprise after all. I wonder if I will meet my mate. My thoughts were interrupted when I smelt something great. It is like a smell of the morning breeze in a beach and hazelnuts. My eyes landed on a unfamiliar guy with a golden brown hair and with forest green eyes.

"Mate" Sabbie my wolf growled. Be careful what you wish for Autumn!

"Shine!" Danielle said, approaching me. We gave each other a hug. "So let's go!" she said. "Wait! Where are you going?" He asked, standing up. "Shine is going to tour me around. I can go with her please!" Lockette replied with matching puppy eyes. He rolled his eye “Okay!"

“Yehey” She screamed and hugged him. My wolf growled when she saw Danielle hugged him. “She can’t touch him, He’s M.I.N.E!”

"Thank you Knight!" I promise I'll be good" she said, kissing his cheeks. So that's Xander. Danielle’s best friend is my mate. “If he is Xander, then Danielle is an exception.” Sabbie said. “I’m gonna thank her because she kept my man away from flirt girls.”

“Your man” I asked with her. “Our man” Sabbie corrected. “But is it kinda weird that Danielle is Crypton’s mate and I’m mates with Xander?” I asked her. “What do you mean weird? You don’t like our mate” She said in a sad tone.

“No, He is perfect! What I meant was, we kept on talking about the guys, knowing that we are mates.” I smiled. “Well my dear, it’s not weird. It’s what you called destiny. “Sabbie smiled. I guess she is right.

Danielle and I went into my room to change our clothes. "So how do you find Knight?" Danielle asked, fixing her hair. That's right, she doesn't know about mates yet. I wonder how Xander will tell her. His Cute" I said, shyly. I saw her smirked and left "Wait for me outside! I forgot something." She said which gave kept me off wondering.
