Chapter 10: Nightmares

Danielle's POV:

Darylle rush and sit beside Xaria, They smiled at each other. "Hi! I'm Darylle" he took Xaria's hand and kissed it. Xaria kinda blushed at that moment and looked down. "I'm Xaria" she said not looking at Darylle. Darylle lift her chin and studied her. "I'm sorry, I wasn't there to protect you!" he said as his smile fades away.

"You don't have to. You didn't know anything. Beside, I'm the one who need to say sorry." she said.

Xaria looked at me. "Danielle, I'd like you to tell them everything please." She said. “Are you sure? I mean, it would be best if it came from you." I said step an inch forward. "Please" Xaria said as she looked back at Darylle.

Darylle stood up and hugged me. "Thank you for saving my mate." He said as he let go of me. "She also saved my life so were even." I said as I pat his shoulder. Darylle went back to Xaria's side and kissed her forhead. "You should rest now." he said. Xaria smiled and nodded. "Danielle, please tell them everything." she said as slide back in bed.

I sat beside her "Okay but I want you to be there." I said putting my hands in the air for surrender. Xaria chuckled and put her hands high for victory.

When Xaria woke up, I told them the whole story. While telling them, some started started to cry. They even thought that I was making some kind of stories. In addition, I can see Darylle kept Xaria by his side and just comforted her, same Knight and Shine. Aren’t they sweet? But, I’m upset.

I’m upset that they have to cancel the pizza plan. At least they found a new member while I found a new friend. It way a long Saturday night, since they cancel the pizza plan, I just want to sleep. But sad to say, I can't sleep. It's like two in the morning and I'm still wide awake.

I went down and head straight to the living room where I saw......... Michael, what’s he doing here? How did he find me?

"Hey Danielle, Let's finished what I've started." he smirked. He ran up to me, grab my arms and tie it up then drag me upstairs. I tried to lose the grip but it was no use. I harder I try, the more he tightens his grip on me. I kept on screaming for help but there was no one.

He opens a door and throws me inside. What scares me most is that I'm inside of an abandon warehouse. Michael went on top of me. "You’re mine. I'm only one who could touch you. I own you. YOU ARE MINE." He said as he starts kissing my neck then my body. I kept on screaming for help. But it was no use.

"Help me please." I scream as he pulled my pajama and my underwear down. "Please stop!" I cried. He punched my stomach to shut my mouth; however, he was not contented. He kept on punching me everywhere, my face and my body, as in everywhere until I passed out.

When I woke up, I notice that I was still inside the warehouse, NAKED! I felt a tears falling down. I kept on crying until I saw two masculine shadow figures. When I look up I saw Marcus and Ethan, they both look scared. They are pointing at something so I turn around and I saw group of human wearing a cloak with hood. I couldn't even see there face.

They grab my hands and injected something on me. Without a second passed, I was screaming in pain. I kept screaming in pain until there were bloods everywhere. I kept on screaming until I hear a familiar voice. "Lockette, Wake up. Wake up!" said the familiar voice. Everything starts fading away until open my eyes and saw Knight.

He hugged me so tight "It's okay. It’s only a dream." he whispered. I started crying, even thought it was only a dream, it felt so real. I didn't notice Shine and Xaria was there until they both hugged me.

"What happened Danielle?" Xaria asked. "I.... I.... I" I couldn’t even a word. Shine cut me “It’s okay. We are here now. You’re safe." she said. I smiled at her."Xander, could you sleep next to her?" Shine asked.

My eyes widen. "No! It’s okay. I’m fine." I said. "No you are not. Xander is sleeping here tonight and that is final.” She insists. "But he is boyfriend!" I defend. "He is brother. What if you nightmares again? Don't worry, I trust you. You've been sleeping together even before we met so I don't see any problem." She said.

"Knight" I said looking him. I hope he doesn’t agree with her. "Will you do me a favor? She’s my friend. You’re his brother. I wanted her to feel safe." Shine said looking at him. Knight didn't say anything because he knows he wouldn't win. As for me, I have no choice but to agree with Shine. To be honest, I missed sleeping next to Knight, it makes me feel safe.

Xaria and Shine both said there good nights and left. Knight, on the other hand, looked sad. I told him that I was so sorry for everything. Knowing, Knight he understands me. He also told me that he wanted to sleep next to me just to make sure that I'm safe. He kissed my forehead and tucks himself in bed. But he suddenly sits up and took off his shirt and handed to me. I put wear Knight's shirt and lay down. Whenever I have nightmares, Knight would give me his shirt and lets me wear them. He knows that it keeps me calm. He is also use to sleep shirtless.

I once again close my eyes and let sleep take over me. This time, I know I'm safe. I know that nightmares won't bother me anymore.

Sky's POV:

It was like eight in the morning when Darylle, Kyle, Trevor and I got back from patrolling. When we got inside we saw Xaria, Jaden and Shine in the kitchen.

"Hey babe." Darylle said as he approach her and peck her lips. Geez! When will my mate accept me? When will I get to kiss her?

"Where's Xander?" I asked. Shine walked over to the sink and puts her plate. "Still asleep." She said. "He’s not in your room." Jaden said with a confused looked. "You wouldn't find him there. He is at Danielle's room.” Shine suddenly stopped. Her and Xaria's eyes widens, including us. ESPECIALLY ME!

I felt Daemon wanted to take over. My eyes are starting to change. I quickly ran upstairs and started banging Danielle's door while the rest followed.

The door was finally opened by a....

Shirtless Xander!

I couldn't control my anger anymore, I punch him in his jaws and he fell down. "Knight" Danielle said approaching him. She looked at me with anger. I didn't realize that Shine was already by Xander side until she shouted my name.

Danielle approached me. "What the hell. Why did you do that?" she said with an angry tone. "Cause you’re my mate." I growled as I pull her closer to me. "What?" she asked looking confused.

Daemon wanted to take over so I let him. Daemon tightens his grip on her arms. "You’re mine. I'm only one who could touch you. I own you. YOU ARE MINE." He growled.

As Daemon said those words, Danielle started crying. "Please, I'll do anything you want, just please, and don’t hurt me." she begged. She looks really scared. I finally took the control again. I felt broken when I saw her.

"Thanks a lot Daemon. You made her cry." I told my wolf. Daemon felt sorry and felt in pain from what he is seeing. I was about to hug her when she pushed me away and sat in the corner of her room. "Please don't r**e me. I'll do anything you want." She pleaded.

Everyone was shocked, even Daemon. Danielle just looked down and she covered her face with hand. I can sense that she is really scared. “Her dreams" Xaria whispered. We all look at Xaria then look back at Danielle. Xander approach her and hug her. "Lockette, please tell me." he said as let go of her and tries to uncover her face.

This is the first time I saw Xander with different emotion printed on his face. Confused, sad, angry and so many more. Xander begged once more. Danielle finally agreed but she asked us if she can tell downstairs, in the living room and we all nodded.

Danielle kept crying as she tells us her dreams, I mean nightmares. I can't believe that I made her scared even more. It WAS ACTUALLY was Daemon. The word Daemon said was exact words Michael said before raping her in her dreams.

When she mentioned Marcus, Ethan and people wearing cloak, Xaria started to cry, oh yeah, that's right. It really happens to her and to her pack. I felt sorry for her. To be honest, I really don't know what to do anymore. My heart was shattered into pieces. I was so mad at myself. I hope she could forgive me.

I looked at Danielle; I could tell that she is still scared of me, especially with Daemon.

I’m not blaming anyone rather I’m blaming myself. Daemon was just mad, I let him took over. I was afraid that knight would steal my mate from me. I didn’t want that to happen. Darylle found his mate. Xander and Autumn are mates. I just want my mate.

Danielle excuses herself and went upstairs. I wanted to follow and comfort her a bit. Because of me, she is acting like that. "Go after her." Xander said. I looked at Xander making sure he wasn't mad at me. "You’re sure?" I asked. “Uh yeah!" he said with one eyebrow up.

I smiled and rush toward Danielle's room. The room was slightly open enough to see her taking some clothes outside her closet. I knocked and waited the cue to come in.

"Come in!" she said. "Hey!" I said walking inside her room. She nodded and gave me a weak smile. I promise myself that I would do anything just to make that smile happy. "I’m sorry about earlier. I didn’t mean to hurt you." I said looking down.

"Sky" she called. My eyes widen when she called my name. It was the first time she said my name. Her lovely voice just shiver down through my spine and I can't help it but smile. Too bad that smile faded when she said something.

"I wanted you to stay away from me. To be honest, you’re scaring me. Every time you tighten your grip on me, it reminds me of Michael. I just wanted to forget that bastard." she said. I felt like someone took my heart and shot it in front of me. I can feel that there are tears forming but I tried to hide it. I don't want her to see me cry.

"She wants us to stay away from her?" Daemon cried. I wanted to asked why. I wanted to get angry; however, if I did that then she'll be scared of me even more.

I was speechless, I couldn't say a word so I just nodded and left. I went straight to my office. There I cried, wanting to smash all the stuffs inside. She'll never give me a chance. "I'm sorry; Because of me our mate is scared of us." Daemon said.

I told Daemon that it was okay. I did scare her too. Coming back to reality, I stayed inside my office trying to focus on my work. My nightmare just came into reality.
