Chapter Two

-POV Change-

“ Yo, how much longer we gonna be in this place? I miss my whores man.”

“Kane, shut the hell up. We will leave when I say and not a moment sooner.”

Kane responds with a groan. “Damnit Kane, if you need a f**k so bad go whoo some brunette in the coffee shop or some s**t!”

He goes to argue but I glare at him and he immediately lets it go. He cannot ignore the glare of an alpha.

“Well I guess you’re going to be sitting here again for awhile?” Kane asked. Referring to the fact that for the past week, I have sat on these steps and watched the flower parlor, or rather, who was in it.

“You’re damn straight.”

He just sits down beside me and lights a cigarette. Fight over so soon? He offers me one and I pop it in my mouth and wait for him to light it for me.

I sit and stair at the giant letters on the Parlor.

‘A&R Flowers’

It was an all white building with Purple letters. From what I could tell, all of the inside was decked out in white as well. White walls, white marble flooring, etc.

My eyes catch a patch of black hair and I know it is her. She usually comes down just seconds before the clock strikes eight. She likes to push the limits. And the thought of that makes me start to wonder what other limits she is willing to push.

“It’s been so long since we have seen her.” Kane sighs in amazement.

“ you don’t have to remind me.” I say with an irritated grunt. It’s been twenty years. Twenty years ago she ran. She decided she didn’t want to allow fate to capture her. So she fled with family members. It took me Years to find her. But she was still too young and I had a kingdom to run, so let her be. She moved around several times before they settled in one place but I always found her. I always will. My time of waiting is over, However. I won’t let her run from me again.

Before thinking about it, I’m up walking towards the parlor. I have my shades on so no one can see my eyes. They are too recognizable. I step through the door, I hear a very faint jingle sound. Almost too faint to hear. Well for a human anyways. But I know that sound is to let them know someone is here, with the annoyance of a large bell. Our hearing is impeccable after all.

“Hi there, how can I help you?”

I turn and see that Raven is standing right next to me with a big smile on her face. “Wow” I thought to myself. Her beauty is unmeasured, that is for sure. And her outfit choice is almost enough to make my c**k swell right here in the parlor.

“ Can I please get a black rose?” I ask her

“ Sure thing! Just one?” She asked while walking toward the basin full of black roses.

“ Oh yes, I think just one will do the trick.” I could hear the smirk in my own voice. She smirked at me with a side glance.

“Not a problem. I’ll have that wrapped for you and I’ll be right back.”

“No need.” I stated before she walked off. "Hey, I like your earrings. Pretty sexy on the shape of your ears, too." She started playing with her hair, almost like she was covering her ears with her thick, black hair.

"Is there anything else I can help you with", She asked in an anxious tone. Like the tone one uses when trying to end the conversation. I shook my head.

I grabbed the flower and asked her where I pay. She gave me a smile and pointed me in the direction of the cashier. Even though I knew she wouldn't recognize me due to her only being eight years old when she left, but I still found myself letting out a sigh of relief upon leaving. I get to have my fun a little while longer, even if it is only in dream form. I walked back across the street to retrieve Kane and head back to the office. But I will be back when the sun goes down.
