THE LAST 65 DAYS ON EARTH chapter 8

**CHAPTER EIGHT **

** DAY FIFTY THREE **

Now the way things were done was now a little bit different for Elijah because he had a people to teach and make them understand God's word and all the Christian life was all about, and the urgency they had to tell every other person about it .

That day after they finished praying that day they went out to reach out to other communities like they usually did. They left the house that day expecting that everything will go smoothly but as usual they had a challenge to face and overcome but also as usual they were always going to overcome in a way with the help of their God.

As they walked out of the house they were like the children of isreal in the bible. Elijah told them to gather together people at a place and that he was going to lead the people in a session of prayer. Then when they got to the town , unlike every other town they had a check and got all of them arrested, about a hundred and ten, they were all arrested and the military prepared a large room and sent all of them into the large hall.

The whole room was filled with so much confusion and the people murmured like babies and new converts. immediately Elijah saw that the people murmured because they were in disbelief he Rebuked them and urged them to pray to he God that sent them on the mission, they then started praying and the hall was filled with the presence of the lord and then they began to praise their God and sing songs of praise and exhortation to him as it was said in their scriptures (Ps.149.1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. ). And all of a sudden the gates of the hall was opened, their chains were broken and they walked out of the hall filled with the spirit and speaking in a language they could not understand and singing to God in psalms and new songs. As they walked past the military personnels some of the military men joined them while some of the were shooting at them but nothing could penetrate through their midst because the protection of the lord was upon them.

They walked straight to the town that they had already planned to go to and started gathering everyone in that town to that place where they stayed to preach. When they had all gathered at the place Elijah started to preach to the people and they all got with the spirit that day and joined Elijah were ever he went and the number of the people that joined them was about a hundred and fifty which made them two hundred and seventy people who were ready to go anywhere with the gospel with Elijah. At the night that day Elijah gathered them and told them that no matter what happened they should never turn away from the God that they served even if him himself turned away, he then said " the coming of our lord Jesus christ is coming more closer than ever before, please prepare for it." and then he called one of them that was very loyal to the call and gave him charge over the a half of the congregation.
