Several days had passed and Lily had barely left her room, let alone left the house.
Lily had tucked Nile’s letter safely into her diary after she had read it. She wanted to thank him and let him know she did not blame him at all, she wanted to tell him that he gave her wonderful butterflies in her stomach every time she thought about him.
Lily had got up early and started to prepare breakfast for her family when she heard the shower turn on in the bathroom and her father start to sing his usual morning shower song. It made her smile to herself as she whisked the eggs.
