Asteria’s POV
I woke up to loud noises nearby me. My head felt as if someone had a parked a truck on it. Groaning out loud, I slowly opened my eyes and looked around.
I freeze as I take in where I am. A cold dread seeped into my veins as yesterdays events came into my mind.
‘I was kidnapped’ a gasp escaped my mouth as I looked around with frantic eyes.
‘No… no, this cant be happening’ I murmured internally as I looked around the dark cell. I was the only one present here.
When I tried to move, dread settled inside as I snapped my gaze and stared at my hands. My entire body froze and muscles tensed as I realized that I am tied to the wall. Taking short breaths, I gulped with fear inside me.
