Penelope looked away before Alex was halfway up the rope, unable to watch the slow progress. That was how fast she’d expected Luca to go up the rope. A speed that meant she’d be stuck on the top of the wall far too long. She looked at the city spread out below, trying to take her mind off her location. It wasn’t the height that bothered her.
