CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO MINA WAITED IN THE lobby of Whitaker, Whitaker and Lee, rocking up onto her toes and back down again, rubbing her stomach as if that would get rid of the knot. Before leaving the Sanctuary that morning, she and Bee had fought again; Bee repeating her usual mantra that the conclave was Mina's family now, and Mina replying with her usual retort that her family was still her family. She was here to meet Dale and Mr. Whitaker about some new issue with their mother's estate. Mr. Whitaker hadn't said much when he called, only that he needed to speak to them.
