Fabian knew it was his end but he kept his usual demeanor in an attempt to hide his fear but Avanya could feel it on his very skin, on his eyes, and on the way his lips quivered every now and then. She watched as her body controlled by Avanya moved closer to Fabian. As result, the man hissed when he took a step back and felt the burning pain from the fire on his back. Avanya smiled, grabbing his hand and pulling him close to her. Fabian did not fight back, wise enough not to recoil from being pressed on her body. "I will not kill you," she said. "I have better things planned for you." She wonders if that is a good thing or not—if it is good to have your life saved by Avanya or death would have been a better choice.
