"I have mates. Plural. Not one but two."  "And twins. My best friends since I was six." After the steamy revelation in the changing room of a*****e and a quick bite at a cafe things between the three wasn't as awkward she thought it to be. Though she had questions she couldn't formulate words to ask. Knowing her so well they simply answered them all. The information she gathered was a bit overwhelming to say at least but it gave her more insight into why two young boys felt the need to be there for her, protect her. She always thought it was because their godmother was her mother why they were nice to her but it was far from that. Their actions before their sixteenth birthday were all them, every action every feeling towards her was void of any mate bond. When their wolves surfaced the bond was made stronger. "So am I like something you would share between yourselves? You get one day the other gets the next" she asked as they drove back to Mueller. Displeasing growls were heard then the abrupt stop of the car at the side of the road. "You are not an object. Nor a play toy. You are not a house where people share living arrangements. You are Jasmine...." "A person. A sister. A daughter..." "A friend and now a mate..." "To us..." "Do not see yourself as a play toy for us. We have been around you together since we were kids and we never once fought over you...." "I understand when Dominic wants alone time with you..." "And I understand when Damien needs you. You also would have a choice freely on your own mind..." "To choose who you want to spend time with. We know this is all new..." "But we see it as a blessing. You have twice the love.." "Twice the hugs. We are lucky to have you, Jazzy." "Don't you ever think this relationship is like a card game where you always have to share." She had no words to say, how do you make a comeback after that. They more or less just told her that they loved her and would do so till their last breath. She nodded, blushing as they each took her hands kissing her knuckles not so long after. "We would go at your pace. When you accept us as yours that's when it all begins." Damien said after a moment of silence. They stayed quiet once more thinking over one main thing, would she accept them. "Take your time. Just know we are always here for you." his brother said as they pulled into the car park. Eyes met them as they walked the halls of the academy, they watched the twins walking beside her with their hands filled with shopping bags. They walked with their heads held high ignoring the whispers that accompanied the stares. The situation that was happening now brought up the question, what would society think of them. She would be the girl with two men, two men who aren't afraid to show affection in public. Two men who would be protective of her. They would think of her like a slut, polygamy was frowned upon by most people. It surely would bring shame to her family. As they neared her dorm, the twins sensed the change in her mood, not saying a word they simply led her to her room and packed away her things then sat on either side of her. Each brother held her hand and stayed in the tense silence. "You are scared," Dominic said breaking the silence. Jasmine turned to him only to see that he was already focused on her. She finally saw the Dominic she missed all these years, the worry was in his hazel eyes, his full lips were in a thin line his hair was in a mess from her fingers but he still looked undeniably handsome. Boldly she leaned closer kissing his lips softly before placing her head on his shoulder. "Yes," she croaked. "About what people will think of us." Damien countered. She turned her head slightly to get a look at the always optimistic cheerful twin, now he didn't sport his winning smile his face showed disappointment and uncertainty. Not wanting him to be this way, she tugged his hand gently and motion for him to rest his head on her lap. He did so while keeping their hands linked, Dominic kissed her head as they went back into the deafening silence. "I can take criticism but my family... I don't want that for them." The boys listened to her words carefully before replying. They surely caught the worry and the fear but not regret. "As we said our relationship won't go public until you accept us fully." Damien was the first to speak out loud while his brother stayed silent. "We will wait till you accept whatever negativity that may come our way. The reality that we have duties to the crown. We have had many years to think of the bad and good of our mating. To think of how we would be there for each other, it would be wrong of us to push you into it all when you have had no chance to adjust and think on your own." he continued. She nodded in agreement and allowed her self to be lost in the care and comfort of the two men with her. "Jasmine."  "Yes, Dom?" "Would you like to go on a date with me?"  Damien squeezed her hand hiding his amused smile, pleased that his brother was taking a step out of his shell. He knew Dominic wanted to do so many things with her when they were younger but was willing to put aside his wishes and go along with whatever he and her wanted. He had no qualms about it all, he and Jasmine were close now it was his brother's chance to create that bond. "I would love to." Her answer pleased both him and his wolf as he kissed her head once more in gratitude. Was it possible to be on cloud nine and still have worries on your mind? Jasmine was in that situation presently. Positioned behind her desk she found her self continuing the impromptu character storyline. Their story was sad and she wondered where their happiness would come in but she kept drawing her hand having a mind of its own. She lost track of the time after the twins left. They didn't leave empty-handed though they each gave a kiss relaying whatever emotion they felt for her individually. She felt it all and was still gobsmacked that they had so many feelings for her. Amidst it all she wondered would she reach the level to return that kind of love. They were patient with her and it was greatly appreciated. "Hey " Chris' cheerful voice cut through her reverie causing her to turn to her instantly. "So I've heard a lot... holy mother of God. Look at the size of that thing." Jasmine's eyes widen as Chris broke her personal bubble pushing her head slightly to get a good look at whatever it was on her neck. "What are you talking about?" she asked pushing her friend away to rush over to the mirror. Jasmine's eyes bulged in shock as she spotted the dark red splotch on her neck. Her face heated up quickly pinpointing the time it placed there. "Xander" she whispered harshly but a chuckle threatened to escape at the situation at hand. "Does that love bite come hand in hand with the talk of you and the hunky sexy twins went shopping today?" Jasmine quickly turned around and faced the redhead, "Already?" she asked releasing a deep sigh. "Yup. Their fan club is all up in arms that they chose you over them." Chris said with an amused grin. Jasmine sat on her bed hugging her knees to her chest, "The twins and I..... We were friends since we were kids. My best friends. Things happened and we got separated. This is the first time in years that we are actually together." she explained. "Then why do they look at you like the most precious thing on earth" "What?" Chris came to her side quickly getting comfortable before she continued, " You don't see it but I did and Emmaline. For the past week, we saw how they looked at you whenever you leave our sides or whenever you are caught up in your work when we have leisure time."  Jasmine was lost for words her mind went back to the boys and their kisses, a faint smile on her lips as she recollected the way Damien's eyes lit up when she unexpectedly held his hand on their shopping excursion. Even the smile that threatened to break Dominic's cold exterior when he bought her a new art set she was so excited. It was computerized and had every color imaginable and an adjustable drawing pen.  "Jasmine? Are you really related to Emmaline?" Chris asked. "Yeah, my father is her uncle more or less. It's a long family tree. Why do you ask?" Chris smiled nervously, "What I meant to ask was, are you just like Emmaline." Jasmine brows furrowed in confusion, she didn't know what her friend was getting at but was cautious of her next words. "I don't understand what you are saying." "It's been bugging me for some time. Since we first met actually, then the appearance of Emmaline. I didn't know how to approach the subject. My brother sensed Emmaline but you, he was confused about. What I'm trying to say is... I know of Emmaline's position in the supernatural world but what are you?"  Jasmine backed away quickly not sure of how Chris knew but something in her friend's eyes caused her to stop. Her next question stopped Jasmine completely. The emotion of her words and the hitch in her voice tore at her heart. "Are you a reject like me?"
