There was something about the whole story that kept catching my eye when I looked at the reports, but I couldn't figure out what it was. I rubbed the bridge of my nose wearily. An important thought flashed through my head, but it was immediately lost due to a sudden call from Mac, who summoned me to his laboratory. I put the papers in the safe and went straight to Yaroslav. The guards told me that the girl had not left her room since I left.
