Chapter 7

Yaroslava's POV ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Insatiable beast! Horny werewolf! Damn bastard! Not only did he abuse my body as he pleased, but he also ruined my wardrobe! How dare he? He knows I'm Rinat's fiancée! f*****g wolf! As I ran down the concrete stairs, skipping one or even two at a time, I could only concentrate on how far I had just fallen. I cursed Jan over and over again, more and more subtly, trying not to notice how the guilt was starting to gnaw at my insides, turning my soul inside out. He shouldn't have done this to me! I shouldn't have let him! I had to tell Rinat everything. The first time was an accident. Now it's happened a second time. And there will be a third. My cheeks burned with indignation, shame and the desire to do it again, and more than once. My breathing refused to return to its previous rhythm, and the werewolf's bite stung. Every muscle ached with pain. Shameless pervert! I yanked the passenger door handle from the masterpiece of German engineering, proving once again how much Jan liked to feel superior in everything. It turned out the car was locked. “s**t!” I kicked the tire in anger. And I kicked it again because the alarm that was tearing through my already long-suffering brain took me surprised. “I thought you'd have realized by now that your legs have more interesting uses,” Jan's voice sounded from behind me. The sarcasm in his tone was over the top and without thinking I kicked the tire again. The man grinned and unlocked the doors. I would rather not spend a minute alone with the werewolf. But where could I go when the most important part of my wardrobe was missing and my dress was so wrinkled that any fool would know what I've been up to! I nervously ran a hand through my disheveled hair, trying to restore it to its former glory. Jan smiled again. He was still standing next to me, obviously waiting for me to get into the car. Well, let's not keep him waiting. “I only tolerate your company because Rinat said so,” I told him vindictively. “And that's because it won't last long.” I threw a contemptuous glance in the direction of the perfectly satisfied werewolf, and then got into the car. Only Jan was in no hurry to join me. I had to wait at least five minutes while he stared pointlessly at the sky. By the time the werewolf was back behind the wheel, I was ready to be a goody-goody again, as long as I didn't get in the way of his campaign. That is, until Jan. turned onto the freeway, quickly and confidently reaching the hundred mark on the speedometer, and then turned the music up full blast. And not just any music. He went through the sequence of tracks for a long, long time and then put it on repeat, nothing more than an open message. Maybe my imagination was running wild with hormones, and I was imagining things, but the man's voice, singing loudly, made me think deeply and for a long time. About Jan's mind. And about my own. Strongly suspecting that this was the werewolf's way of testing my strength, I turned indifferently away from the window, looking first at the sparkling countryside. Then I looked at the familiar cottages of the village where I'd lived for the past three years. The vulgar phrases reminded me of Jan's hoarse whispering, which made my whole body burn with invisible flames, demanding to quench the newly emerging hunger of lust. And the worse I felt, the more I tried to feign indifference. What's happening to me? I've never experienced anything like this before. Maybe Jan is a f*****g carrier of the virus of extreme nymphomania, which is airborne? Which is not treatable. Realizing that I was starting to go mad, I was almost glad that at least for me the day was over so quickly, but Jan drove past Rinat's house without even thinking about slowing down, let alone stopping. As soon as the man parked the car near the cottage reserved for special guests, I almost cried with frustration. I didn't have to be an i***t to realize that Jan was staying here for the next two weeks. An involuntary groan escaped my chest, which I immediately suppressed in fright. I shouldn't have expressed my feelings like that in front of him. I glanced at the man furtively, but Jan didn't pay any attention to me. He was concentrating on collecting papers from the back seat. I breathed a sigh of relief and reached for the doorknob to get out. But the imperious gesture that intercepted my wrist stopped me. And I naively hoped… “You will tolerate my company for a long time, Rosya. Trust me. So you'd better get used to it and don't mention the name of the Alpha of the Gray Wolf Clan unnecessarily,” Jan said demandingly. The look in his black eyes was mesmerizing and haunting, and the man was so powerful, it was as if he was trying to force me to do his bidding. That it was an order and nothing else was clearer than the sun at its zenith. And that the man sitting beside me was a powerful werewolf. And since it wasn't His Majesty, the Alpha of the Black Wolf Clan, it wasn't too difficult to draw conclusions about who Jan was. Well, I'm going to do some charity work and educate him so he won't try it again. “I always knew Betas were assholes,” I muttered back. I pulled my hand away and got out of the car, leaving the man in a state of mild shock. I paused on the porch outside the door. Furthermore, I didn't want to go inside. As I walked along the paved path, the fuse of anger died down, and I remembered that I didn't really want to be in the same area as this man, especially when there was no one else around. Had it been up to me, I would have turned back, but Rinat had clarified it that I had to accompany our “so damn important” guest. And that was the only thing that kept me from running away again. “Don't be shy, baby,” Jan whispered in my ear, catching me off guard. I jumped in surprise. The man smiled again and pushed the door open, allowing the first to enter. The guesthouse looked like most of the others in our village. The layout was the same everywhere, so without further permission, I quickly turned from the hallway to the right. I decided that the living room, with its large panoramic windows unencumbered by curtains or blinds, was the safest place for my body and conscience. Miscalculated again. Jan followed me at a leisurely pace, throwing the folders of documents he had brought with him onto the coffee table. I wanted to sit down on the sofa next to the table, but I froze, unable to move. The man, with a murderous calm in his eyes, simply began to undress. “What are you doing?” I asked, obviously a rhetorical question. What if I'm wrong, and he's not really getting undressed here? Even though everyone was literally walking across the lawn at intervals of less than a minute, and you could see everything. “I'm going to take a shower,” the werewolf said phlegmatically. “You too.” I probably should have looked him in the eye when I spoke, instead of concentrating on the rather quick process of getting rid of my clothes. My mind instantly and completely shifted to a single vital position, playing amnesia on everything else. With quick, precise movements, the man undid button after button of his snow-white shirt, and my breathing slowed. Apparently, my idea of what Jan looked like without his shirt was still a little off. It was as if the custom-made relief of muscles framed by the light tan of a man's torso had knocked out my stamina for a long time. I didn't even realize I was standing next to him, my fingers reaching for the tantalizing glory of his abs. I couldn't resist and drew an invisible line to the buckle of his trousers. The hungry agony of open desire washed over my body again, making me clench my thighs in anticipation. I'd been ready to dissolve into it for a long time, but to my surprise, Jan decided otherwise. Rather roughly, he intercepted my hand, sharply, depriving me of the opportunity to complete my exploration of this magnificent body. “Upstairs,” he ordered. ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌
