"Ava?" Lilly called out as she pushed open the front door of the townhouse in a panic.
"In here!" They heard in response. Lilly and Alex rushed ahead, Evelyn close behind. Lilly gasped as she rounded the corner, catching sight of an unconscious Penny sprawled out on the living room floor. Ava bent over him in a state of panic. Lilly knelt beside him checking his pulse. Ava's wild eyes met hers as Alex tried to calm her down enough to explain.
"What happened?" Alex cooed, rubbing Ava's back as she attempted to calm her breathing.
"He was fine, everything was fine. He just collapsed."
