A huge nice looking gray-haired man was in charge of checking the books and Susan was scared of being told to go to the left-hand side of vast nothingness.
She hadn't given it a thought because she was so engrossed in her discussion with the old lady.
As the man searched through the book she began to think... "What criteria will I be judged on? I hope I'm not found wanting!"
She hoped she will be told to go to the right side, where paradise was.
Suddenly the large gates in front of her began to creak open, and a bright light shone from behind the gates.
"That's a first!" Susan thought to herself. The gates had never been open since she was there.
The huge grey-haired man suddenly closed the books, snapping Susan back from her thoughts.
To her utter amazement and without saying a word, he stepped out of the way and pointed towards the gate urging her to step in.
No one had been told to go in there during her time here, so Susan was scared about what might be behind those Gates.
She turned around to find the old lady still standing there, with a wide smile on her face.
The old lady nodded towards the gate encouraging her to take the bold step and follow the old grey-haired man's instructions.
Susan began to walk towards the gate, with each step, the anxiety level within her grew, and by the time she got to the gate, she saw a large beautiful city and different people with wings carrying out different assignments.
At the far end was a furnace burning so bright, it lit up the whole city.
At that moment I struck her that she didn't know where the old lady will be directed to, so she turned around to check but she couldn't see the old lady anymore.
Disappointedly, Susan stepped into the gates and two of the winged people approached her, picked her up, and flew her towards the burning furnace.
As she got closer, she realized that it was a white throne with a fire burning all around.
The fire burnt so bright that she couldn't look at them directly, so Susan had to look down.
" Come closer Susan Boyle". A mighty voice said.
The voice rang throughout the whole realm.
The voice send shivers through Susan and great fear gripped her.
"Do not be afraid Susan Boyle, for you have been favored and chosen for greatness!" The voice said.
" I am the light. The creator of the Earth. The one from whom all life proceeds. I gave man the breath that he breathes, and the life that he lives, but man has turned away and almost totally forgotten about me. He does not know that his sleeping and waking, his going and coming, is still determined by my hands".
"Only a few, still acknowledge my existence and attribute my glory to me. But that is about to change!"
"But the Fates are the ones who determine our lives, that is all we have known and believe". Susan replied.
The Fates have deceived humanity for years, and I have watched all this for years unending knowing that the appointed time in which I will mete out their judgment to them is near. And now the time has come!"
"Humanity has been my greatest creation, and the Fates have always been with me through this process. But greed and a thirst for undue power took over them and they decided that they wanted to take all the glory for themselves".
"So they led a rebellion and caused a rift which is why you saw a vast land of nothingness on your left-hand side when you were coming in here".
" I have waited all these years for a man with the strength of character and mind to take back the power I have given to humanity, and I have found that man in Antonio de Castillo".
Susan was shocked at the mention of Antonio's name.
"Anton?" She asked.
"Yes, Antonio". The Light said. "And I have placed so many gifts inside of him and so many are yet untapped".
" But he cannot achieve his destiny without you, your lives are intertwined and he needs you by his side".
"But I'm already dead, as you can see. The Fates made sure of that!" Susan replied with a sad expression on her face.
" Yes, you are. But I was the one who gave you life, and I was the one who permitted to be taken from you, and I can give you again". The Light replied.
"You mean I can go back to the land of the living?" Susan asked, excitement and anxiety growing inside her.
"Yes, you can, and you will! But know that what's done is done and whether you are successful in your assignment or not you will return here immediately".
" You will not stay there, as you are already supposed to be dead!"
The news that she would not remain on earth for long caused disappointed Susan, but she was glad that she would have another see her husband and her son again, and she was determined to help them.
Suddenly, she saw a glowing light proceed out of the fire, coming towards her when it got closer she realized that it was a gem.
" Antonio de Castillo at this moment has lost all his memory, and without this gem, he will never remember who he is. Take it to him and once he sees it the gem will do the rest". The Light said.
Susan stretched out her hands and received the gem. She clung tightly onto it just to make sure she doesn't lose it.
"Go now, because time is running out!" The Light said to her.
"But Wait! I have one question and a request". Susan suddenly said. "Please may I know who that lovely old lady with whom I had a very long discussion outside the gates is? And which side of the divide was she sent? I hope it was to the Paradise!"
"You only receive what you are given, and if you are found worthy, more will be revealed". "Now go before it is too late to return!" The Light said sternly.

The Oraha watched in tears as Susans' dead body was rolled into the morgue.
He didn't want to believe that she was truly gone.
Jose Reyna put an arm around him to comfort him. "Take heart bro, it's going to be alright Bernardo". He said trying to comfort his friend.
The Oraha pleaded with the Doctor and those around to give him a few moments with the dead body.
The Doctor reluctantly agreed and The Oraha walked towards Susan's dead body and stood beside her.
Then he slowly rolled back the sheets that were used to cover her, revealing her face and her upper chest. Susans' face was white and her skin cold.
" I'm sorry, I couldn't protect you, Susan". The Oraha said through tears. "But I promise to protect Antonio Jr.and his father with my life!"
Suddenly while he was speaking, The Oraha heard the movement of some sheets. He turned around to check if there was anyone in the room with him, but no one was around.
He then turned around to the shocking sight of Susan with her eyes open!
Suddenly Susan sat up and looked at him and said...
"She's Antonio's mother!"
