Amnesia

Antonio del Castillo was rolled out on a wheelchair and taken into a room with a large mirror on the wall. From the size of the mirror and the fact that he couldn't see anything through it, he knew some people could see him on the other side of the mirror. After a few minutes, two men and a woman walked into the room and sat across the table from him. "Am I supposed to know these people from anywhere?" he thought to himself. He could swear that he had never met anyone of them before in his life. But he could tell that for some reason unknown to him, they were scared of him. The woman who was dark-skinned, presumably of African descent, decided to speak of first. "Hello Antonio, my name is Tina Gyang. You may or you may not know me, but one way or the other our paths have crossed each other at this moment in time. And we need you to tell us any and everything you can remember from before, during, and after your time in the realm of the Fates. Antonio just sat there looking perplexed, because he had no idea what she was talking about. "What transition?" What would he know that will be of help to them? He could not remember one thing about his past and these people came here telling him that they needed his help?" "Good day Lady". Antonio said. "I don't know who you guys think I am what I'm capable of. As at this moment, I have not seen any signs nor do I remember any of those things you talk about". " I just want to focus on getting my memory back, and if I don't I will start on a clean slate!" He said. "I would have loved to be of help to you, I would have loved to say that I know exactly what you're talking about but the truth is that I don't!" "I don't even know my name! You people keep calling me Antonio, but I have no idea if that is really my name or it's just something you made up". "It's your name!" Tina Gyang cut in. "All I know is that I woke up here and I realize that I am being held captive!" He continued "You're not being held captive!". Julio snapped back. "Yes, I am". Because if I asked that I be released right this moment. Would you guys grant my wish? They could not reply to him because they knew he was saying the truth. They needed him to remember who he was because if he didn't they would not be able to stand in the face of what was coming. "Antonio," Tina Gyang said, as she stooped beside him. "Please try and remember!" she urged him. "We have tried all methods known to get you to remember and we need you to remember! Please don't make us take the last option!" "What is the last option?" Antonio suddenly asked. What are you people going to do to me? He asked with fear written all over his face?
