Taking down the Facility

Jose Reyna, Camila, and the rest of the Higasuki arrived at the location ahead of Susan and The Orahas' group.

Becky stayed back to watch over Antonio Jr. but secretly she was communicating with the Baron General.

Jose Reyna had sent men ahead of them to scout the place. It was a major facility located far inside the woods in the mountains around Berlin.

Camila went ahead of them and deactivated the cameras and the motion sensors while the members of The Higasuki took out the guards one by one.

But unknown to them, Sergio Angel was aware of their coming and had prepared an ambush for them.

They were able to breach the main entrance easily. Killing a lot of guards in the process.

They walked into the facility not knowing they were walking into an ambush.

They began to walk towards the front door of the facility. Suddenly, bullets began to fly out of nowhere and men began to fall to the ground.

They took cover and then hundreds of agents surrounded them leaving them outgunned and outmanned.

There was nowhere for them to run to.

"Surrender now that you have the chance". A voice echoed around them. "Or else you will be captured and then I will make you watch me kill Antonio de Castillo right before your eyes!" He threatened.

"That's Sergio Angels' voice". Susan whispered to The Oraha.

"Sergio? But I thought it was Julio who had the plan with Antonio?" The Oraha asked looking confused.

"That was what Antonio told me, but I think Sergio Angel hijacked the whole plan from him, Sergio is a snake!" Susan said in disgust.

" I urge you to consider my proposal as no blood needs to be shed today". Sergio Angel continued. "We can come to an amicable conclusion that that would benefit us".

"He's lying!" Jose Reyna said.

"Of course he is!" The Oraha replied. But we have no choice but to play along, till we find a moment where we can make our move.

He had barely finished his statement when a knife out of nowhere met one of the Watchmen in the neck causing him to drop to the ground choking in his own blood.

This took everyone by surprise. And chaos broke out and erratic gunfire began.

"Where did that come from Bernardo?" Jose Reyna asked while looking around in confusion.

"I have no idea, Amigos" The Oraha replied desperately scampering for safety.

Men of both sides charged towards each other and a bloody war ensued.

Susan struck with precision. Her blades going through the skins of her victims like a hot knife going through butter she seemed untouchable as she fought desperately.

Jose Reyna did not use any weapons as he created a force field around himself and the others before sending air bursts towards oncoming attackers.

After a while, he stepped out of the force field and began to decimate them from top to bottom with his bare hands.

He had speed was both like nothing Susan had seen before. He seemed to move faster than the bullets.

This bravery encouraged the others hiding in the bubble to come out and attack.

They all charged at Sergio Angels men, who were now being run over.

Sergio Angel could not believe what he was seeing as his men were being butchered despite their numerical advantage.

He immediately retreated into the building and put it on lockdown.

A chopper was waiting at the top of the building, so Sergio Angel ran straight to the elevator that would be headed to the top floor.

Unknown to him, Camilla had already snuck into the building.

Just as he was about to enter the elevator, a rope caught him by the neck and pull him back sweeping him off his feet and landing him on the floor.

His men turned around to find Camilla standing behind them.

The five of them attacked Camilla leaving Sergio Angel to safely enter the elevator and proceed to ascend.

After finishing with those who were outside, Jose Reyna and co were finally able to enter the main building.

Camilla evaded their punches and kicked two in the face and one in the crotch.

She maneuvered herself around them, using her rope to tie them without their knowledge.

Jose Reyna met her standing over the men tied together and struggling.

They the. proceeded to search the whole building.

After hours of searching, they realized that Antonio was no more in that building.

Camilla also recovered CCTV footage of Antonio's escape.

"He's alive!" A relieved Susan exclaimed.

Antonio got to the top of the steps before you Leroy.

Immediately he stepped out into the corridor he saw three men with assault rifles. The men spotted him also and began to fire at him.

Antonio unsheathed his two swords and began to run towards them using the swords to deflect the bullets as they came towards him.

The shooters could not believe their eyes on seeing what Antonio was doing.

While running towards them Antonio somersaulted and landed in front of them. He then proceeded to slit the men's throats with one swing of the blade.

Leroy watched in amazement as he had only heard about the Adventures of the angel de la Muerte.

The sounds of the gunshots alerted the other attackers who swarmed the corridors searching for Antonio and Leroy.

They had suddenly disappeared. But unknown to them. Leroy had taking Antonio through the spaces in the walls which was specially designed into the building plan by him in case of emergencies such as this.

They headed straight for Gwens' room. When they got there they found the room to be scattered from the struggles of Gwen with the kidnappers, but she was nowhere to be found.

" Antonio! Leroy! Help me please!" They heard Gwen scream from outside. They ran to the window to see Gwen being forced into a black Range Rover SUV.

But the SUV did not leave immediately, it stood waiting for somebody. Antonio presumed that person was himself and he had vowed he will never go back there!

" We have to save her!" Leroy said with desperation written all over his face.

"We will Antonio". assured him. "They will not leave until they get me. I am the one they came for and they do not know if I have any ties with Gwen, so I'm not sure they would use her as a bargaining chip".

They then went on to discuss the plan to rescue Gwen and escape their attackers.

" Don't die!" Antonio said to Leroy as they parted ways in the tunnel behind the walls of the house.

"I cannot promise you that, after all, I have been with the angel de la Muerte". Leroy replied cheekily with a smile on his face

It was a silent drive to the warehouse. Ricardo's hands trembled as he maneuvered his way towards the warehouse.

Tears ran freely down his cheeks as he came to grasp with the magnitude of what he had just done.

He had just murdered his own sister! If only he had taken off the covering on her face he was sure he would not go through with it.

"Why didn't I just take it off?" He asked himself ignoring the fact that Lord Murillo was in the car.

"I should have taken it off, and saved my sister!" Ricardo said as he drove the car.

Lord Murillo sat at the back of the car in silence watching Ricardo mourn the death of his sister.

He finally broke his silence and said. "I'm very sorry for your loss Ricardo, but we all have had to lose something very dear to us to get to where we are today".

"With great power, comes great sacrifices my boy". Lord Murillo said.

"Then I don't want your power!" Ricardo said angrily as he suddenly stepped on the brakes, bringing the car grinding to a halt.

" I do not want your power, I do not want any of it! I just want my sister back! How did they know where to find her? She wasn't in Berlin neither was she in Spain. So how did you guys find her?" He asked in rage.

"The Coven can get to anyone they want, at any time they want to. That is all I know. I wasn't part of the process of finding her".

"You have no idea the number of sacrifices I have made to get to where I am. So know that I understand your pain and more..."

"So you mean you killed your wife?" Ricardo suddenly said.

Suddenly without Lord Murillo moving a finger, Ricardos' neck began to turn almost to breaking point.

"How dare you talk about my wife in such a manner?" Lord Murillo said in rage.

"I could end your life this very moment for this!"

"Please My Lord!" Ricardo said as he gasped for breath.

"Know your place! Lord Murillo said and then Ricardo's neck went back to its normal place.

"The only thing that matters is achieving the goal. Take heart Ricardo what's done is done and we can only make best of the situation we find ourselves". Lord Murillo said in a car tone as if he wasn't the same person that was about strangling Ricardo to death a few moments ago.

" Let's go home" Lord Murillo instructed.

While they were still contemplating their next move, they began to hear what sounded like muffled screams from a distance

. Camila went back to the control room to search the cameras so they would detect where the screams were coming from.

"I think I have them!" she shouted from inside the room.

Susan, Jose Reina, and The Oraha went into the room to see who she was talking about.

"Oh, my word! That's Julio!" Susan exclaimed, "and that's the African lady Tina Gyang".

"Do you mean the same Julio that was supposedly working with Antonio? l" The Oraha asked

" Yes, that's the one!" Susan said.

"Errrm... I think we have a problem!" Camilla said hesitantly.

" And what is it? Jose Reyna asked her.

"It looks like this whole place has been rigged to blow". Camilla said nervously.

" You say what?" The Oraha asked anxiously. "We need to get out of here ASAP!". He said.

"What about Julio and the lady? Susan asked. "We have to try and save them. Julio is the only one who can lead us directly to Antonio".

Just as she was speaking they began to hear a buzzer as multiple explosions began happening everywhere.

" We have to get out of here right now!" Jose Reyna shouted.

Camilla and everyone began to run for the exit door.

The Oraha followed closely behind but as he turned around to check on Susan he saw her running in the opposite direction.

"Susan what are you doing?" He asked in horror.

"I have to save them! It may be our only chance of getting to Antonio before someone else does". She said as she disappeared down the corridor.

The Oraha caught up with Jose Reyna and Camila as everyone evacuated the building.

" Susan has gone back inside to save Julio and the African lady". He said with a sad expression

"Then she really desires to die". Camilla said sarcastically.

"I have to go and help her!" The Oraha said.

"No Bernardo! That would be resigning yourself to death! You will never make it out in time. This is foolishness!" Jose Reyna screamed in anger.

"Every time they needed me, I was never there for them. This is my opportunity to change that, and even if it takes my life, I am ready to lay it down". The Oraha said as he disappeared into the house.

"Bernardo! Jose Reyna screamed.

Susan frantically checked from room to room until she got to the room where Julio and Tina Gyang were screaming from.

She banged on the door and shouted... "It's Susan here! The house is about to explode and I'm going to try to get you out".

Julio was shocked to hear Susan's voice. She was the last person he expected to come to his rescue.

She brought out her two Pistols and aimed them at the locks and began to fire. It took a while before the locks gave way and the door swung open allowing Julio and Tina to rush out.

They were several floors below ground level, and the top floors were already being destroyed by the explosions.

The Oraha caught up with them as they looked for a way out.

"Why did you follow me?" Susan asked in shock on seeing the Oraha.

"I could not leave you to die again, how could I live with myself?" The Oraha replied.

"There's an underground tunnel that leads to the main road". Julio cut in on their conversation.

Suddenly they heard a loud explosion behind them and they scrambled for safety.

Julio led them to the entrance of the tunnel where they found some bikes.

Julio and Susan led the way with one of the bikes into the tunnel, while The Oraha and Tina Gyang followed closely behind on another.

They were riding at a high speed and the tunnel was caving in behind them as a result of the multiple explosions.

They rammed the doors of the tunnel and found themselves on the main road leading to the house.

Meanwhile, Jose Reyna and his group who were already mourning their deaths as they escaped were driving at a high speed and looking at the devastating effects of the explosion.

It took them by surprise to see Susan and company appear ahead of them

He Immediately stopped and ran to Susan.

"You made it!" He said. As he hugged her tightly.

"Did you see Bernardo?" He asked.

"Yes, he was right behind us!" Susan said turning to see that The Oraha, but she then realized that he and Tina didn't come out of the tunnel with them...

"But he was right behind us!" Susan said as tears filled her eyes.
