Chapter 3

"What the hell are you doing here?" I demand, holding my towel tighter against me. William reaches into the pocket of his dark jeans and pulls out a cell phone. "I think that this belongs to you." he says, handing it over to me.  He was sporting a hoodie, dark sunglasses and a cap, shifting from foot to foot. I examine it, trying the power button only to find that my phone is dead. "I-I didn't even think of my phone. Thank you." William nods and looks around, the muscles in his jaw tense. "You're quite welcome, however I wouldn't keep your personal information in your notes section. It could be quite dangerous." "Says the man who actually looked through my phone just to find my address. Now, is there anything else, your highness,  or can I get back to my shower?" I snap, tossing my phone back onto the couch. William turns his head back in my direction, his lips turning upwards in a smirk. "Well, Miss Parr, I was actually thinking that maybe you could help me. You see, my driver isn't quite here yet and the morning classes are starting in-" he pauses and glances at his watch on his wrist, "less than a minute and I really don't want to be seen. Could I hide out in here for a bit?" he asks, taking his sunglasses off. I swallow hard, looking over my shoulder to see some of my clothes on the floor and dishes in the sink. I sigh, looking at him again. "Alright, fine. But give me a few minutes go get dressed, okay?" I tell him, stepping back and opening the door wider. "Oh, I quite like your look now." he says, walking past me and plopping down on the couch. I roll my eyes and shut the door, making my way to my bedroom. I shut the door and go to my dresser, grabbing my underwear and slipping the fabric on before grabbing a pair of skinny jeans and shimmying into them. I look around for a bra and put it on once I find it and finish my outfit with a Cambridge University hoodie. I keep my hair down and throw on a few quick brushes of mascara and chapstick. I grab my shoes and put them on before walking out of my bedroom to find William rummaging around in my fridge. "You have absolutely no food in here, you know that right?" he says, standing up and looking at me. I cross my arms over my chest and shrug, looking back at him. "And? It's not like you're going to be here all the time. I'm hardly here, so what's the point?" William pauses and looks down giving a slight nod before he looks at his phone. "Right. Well, Philip said that he's stuck across campus, by the quad. Is there any way you can maybe..sneak me out?" I smirk, nodding as I walk back to my room to grab my backpack. "I guess. I actually have class in about thirty minutes." I tell him. I walk back out and smile at him. "Alright, let's go."  William grins and then we walk to the door and I peak out, then grab his hand and lead him towards the back staircase.  "Is this a regular thing you do? Find the addresses of your one night stands and the cop them into escorting you to your car?" I say, looking at him. William laughs and shakes his head. "No, not at all. Would you believe me if I told you that..you were my first one-night-stand? " I shake my head and grin. "No, I wouldn't. I mean, you're a bloody prince. A bachelor. Almost everyone in the entire country wants to have you. I've seen the magazines, the paper. You're notorious with women. But only if they have money." He shakes his head again, looking away from me. "That's just what everyone sees. No one ever takes the time to get to know me. They see the crown, the money. Not me. Does that make sense?" "It does. And I'm sorry to say, but I feel like we're getting a bit too deep for how little we know each other." I tell him. William looks at me, a sly smirk on his lips as he stops walking, pulling me with him. "I'm pretty sure we know a lot about each other. Last night showed that pretty well. Don't you think?" I roll my eyes and then gasp when I'm pushed against the tree next to us. "What are you do-" I'm cut off when I feel his lips on mine. "Just go with it, please? They were looking at us." He mumbles. I hesitate then nod and wrap my arms around his shoulders and pulled him closer, kissing him deeper. William chuckles against my lips and slides his hands down my sides and just under my hoodie, his fingertips brushing my stomach. I let out a shaky breath as he pulls back from the kiss, resting his forehead on mine. "Thank you for walking me, Rhett. I'll call you later." he says, and with that he's gone.
