‘Hey, Andy, have you seen where Hannah got to?’ Hanson tried to sound natural, as if he hadn’t been over every inch of the training barracks, including the women’s bathroom, and found no trace of her. He’d gone outside to look for her and found Andy coming out of the main building.
‘I can’t see Justice anywhere, either.’ That Justice couldn’t be found reassured him somewhat. Jackson would never let anything happen to his girlfriend. He’d been extra careful with her ever since she came back from the dead and was no longer invulnerable. Odds were Hannah was off with the two of them, safe and sound. But it didn’t hurt to check.
