Today is the day. It is the day that my princess makes her grand entrance into the world.
"Okay, we got baby girl's bag, got your bag, got your snac-" I cut Mia off.
"Mia, we got everything. Let's just go on to the hospital before my contractions get worse." I said.
"Okay, okay, we can do that," She said before rushing out of my apartment.
"I wish she'd calm down," Desirae said as she grabbed my hand to help me out of my apartment and down the stairs.
"s**t, my bad, Dee," Mia said once we made it to her car.
"It's fine," I said, wanting to laugh about how nervous she was.
Mia opened the passenger door for me, and Desirae helped me in the car.
Then Desirae and Mia got in. Once Mia got in and started the engine, she sped to the hospital.
