Chapter 20
“What is this?” I wondered aloud. I glanced around, but no one was there. Just an envelope and a long, skinny box wrapped in red paper and a puffy white snowball.
It reminded me of the b*a and panties I wore for Wyatt.
I sat on the edge of my bed and reached for the envelope first. Inside was a card that simply said ‘Merry Christmas’ on the front with snowflakes all over it. I opened the card and glanced at the bottom where ‘Love, Wyatt’ was scrawled.
I couldn’t help but grin. I slowly read the card. He thanked me for making it the best Christmas season he’d had in a long time. And officially asked me to accompany him to the Valentine’s Day party. He asked me to go whether he won or not because he wanted to go with me, and only me.
