Escape attempt...
Avery stared at those piercing golden eyes for a few minutes. The cold breeze passed along with the moon rising again in the clouds and Caius also coming out of the shadow of the tree.
Avery's world seemed to shake again. 'When will that man let go of her?'
Avery thought she was just imagining the man she didn't want to see anymore and also because she didn't have the time to think for him.
Caius slowly walked towards her like a leopard ready to tear his prey because of its golden eyes. He grinned at Avery like he was something up to her, whom the girl immediately stepped back when she made sure that she wasn't dreaming or imagining that the Alpha had actually arrived.
"This can't be good."
Avery said to herself and without a word walked away as the Alpha approached
