"How are you feeling Beta?"
Caius asked Caiden after Caius put Chaise on Caiden's bed. Chaise was lying there again and fast sound asleep after he was knocked down by Caiden earlier.
They both walked out of the pack tent, leaving Chaise inside. Caiden follows Caius outside the pack house with a bit of stagger. The white bandage was still wrapped up half of Caiden's body to cover his deep wounds which are not yet fully healed.
"My body is still a little sore but one thing for sure, I'm good to go Alpha."
Caiden said and smiled at him, unsure. He perfectly hid the pain he felt from his smile when his side suddenly hurt. Well, Caiden is a master of fakery.
"No, you're not definitely okay. You're still not in good shape. You can't fool me with your smile, Caiden."
