Like a cruel beast Kenshin abandoned any trace of his refined techniques and just used the sheer power of his body with his instincts as his mind was lost in the desire for blood.
*Rip!* With hands like claws the skeleton ripped one of the dragons’ throat open, he tried to avoid it but the power emanating from the hand was acting like gravity pulling his body towards death.
*Bam!* The leader tackled with a headbutt, taking the skeleton away from his subordinate and saving the life of the wounded dragon.
“Hah! You will see for yourself what’s the punishment for killing the soldiers under my command!” After pushing Kenshin the dragon’s leader was starting to feel really tired, and his head was hurting a lot from the rigid bones, it looked like he was affected more than his target.
Confronted with these words Kenshin kept his mouth shut, not that he wasn’t interested in mocking the dragon or something like that, more like he was currently unable to speak, his eyes were blurry and the attack just now wasn’t him, it was just impossible to control, that wasn’t his will but his instincts that were taking over, his mind was losing to the undead spirit too fast.
His body bent forward in a move similar to someone falling, but instead his legs pushed forward with abnormal power destroying the ground and sending him flying to the dragons’ leader with amazing speed.
*Bam!*c***k!* Hitting the dragon’s head with his skull Kenshin sent the enormous enemy flying for kilometers and a weird sound reverberated as the dragon’s skull was crushed into an ugly shape.
Standing up just by pure willpower the leader was glaring at Kenshin with extreme hatred in his eyes, he was never this humiliated before, no one should live after this and he was going to shred this human into tiny pieces no matter what.
Seeing this his loyal comrades couldn’t help but be moved, the weak body almost falling and the glare that wasn’t too intimidating because his eyes were in the wrong position after his skull was smashed weren’t the same as the imposing official from before.
“Take our strengths and finish the mission sir!” All the dragons still alive shouted as one and the leader slowly nodded his head in acceptance.
Dragons had an ancient ritual of sacrifice, if a dragon was willing to lose himself he could become part of another one, increasing the one’s power and forming an unbreakable bond.
That was what was happening this moment, the moment they all accepted the dragons’ bodies turned into a purple light and pierced through the leader’s body, with a loud scream that soon turned into a roar his body grew taller and stronger, the wounds from a moment ago vanished and any traces of a fight just disappeared from his body.
An imposing aura irradiated from his body and his heavy breath created powerful whirlwinds that could kill a normal person, the limbs that previously were limping now looked like nothing could ever leave a scratch on them and the eyes that were showing so much anger now gave the feeling of cold arrogance, the leader was no more, the subordinates were just past, a new dragon emerged and was ready to fulfil the wishes of the beings that formed him.
“Brace yourself, I'm the 10th battalion of the dragon empire and for every soul you took i will make you pay.” Comforted and recovered from any trace of fear the 10th battalion was now ready for another fight, and ready to win this one.
“K-kenshin! Are you sure you can win this one? After the fusion they are way stronger for sure, so even if i’m wounded i can help you cof cof.” Even if she was offering help Master Hori couldn’t do much now, she coughed blood and one of her disciples came running to help heal her.
But opposed to her expectations of an answer Master Hori was confronted with eyes devoid of any emotions, she could only see killing intent on those eyes and no words came out of the skeletal mouth.
Hori was frightened with her childhood love’s gaze, he never looked at her like this before, he always looked at her with love, not the romantic love she wanted but full of love for a friend, but now there was just the desire to kill her right now, this thing was no longer Kenshin, maybe he was trapped inside but he wasn’t controlling the body anymore.
A tear rolled down Hori’s left cheek as her heart instantly broke into pieces, it didn’t matter if they won now, her Kenshin was lost, she needed to find a way, there MUST be a way to bring him back!
Focusing on the dragon in his front again the horrendous skeleton let out a guttural scream and covered it’s entire body in purple flames like a demon coming directly from the purgatory and jumped towards its prey.
The 10th battalion jumped towards the skeleton too and they clashed mid-air sending a huge impact that shattered the ground around them, creating a huge crater.
“Aaargh!” The fused dragon was severely hurt by the flames covering the skeleton’s body and couldn’t resist it’s grab as he was tossed in the ground with impossible strength.
*Bam!*Bam!*Bam!* The skeleton’s punches came like meteorites crashing in the dragon’s body and the power increased with each punch, the skeleton didn’t even look like it was putting so much effort but still the dragon was taking a brutal beating, with each hit a bone in his body broke and blood came gushing out while his consciousness faded away.
“Roar!” Fully exerting himself the dragon used his legs to push his opponent’s body away and stood up using his wings to glide away from the dangerous monster.
“I give up! Please spare my life, just take me as a prisoner please!” Using what was left of his stamina, the result of the 10th battalion’s members' fusion bowed to their opponent begging for kindness.
But they should have done that before, because now they received no reaction from this human, to be precise he was no longer a human, it was just a soulless skeleton looking at them with killing intent and nothing more.
*Aaarrgh!* The dragon let out a huge scream as the skeleton imitated a dragon letting out a breath of purple flames that roasted the already defeated beast, the scream didn’t last long though as he was roasted in a split second, becoming just a lifeless body.
The entire city exploded in applauses as they saw their hero defeat those dragons that represented certain death for them, they would remember Kenshin for generations after his heroic and imposing actions, even Kyoko that was carefully watching the battle from far gave her Dad a round of applause, her father was always the strongest and no bad guy could do anything against him, he would always protect everyone.
The only persons still tense were Master Hori and her disciples, they were close enough to feel the murderous intention irradiating from the skeleton’s body, this monster was way more dangerous than the dragons, if they did nothing they would just die here today.
