POV: Millie Han is a patient teacher and knows way more about history than I ever will. I've never been big on cemeteries. And honestly? I don't visit graves much. It's not that I don't think dead people deserve to be remembered - I just prefer doing it my own way, in my own time. Not standing over some specific patch of dirt. Han's different. He walks through this small cemetery like it's sacred ground, and there's nothing fake about it. His steps slow near each marker. His head bows a little, like he's talking to whoever's buried there. Standing here, I almost get it. Something about this place reaches out to me. Like invisible fingers pulling at something deep in my chest I didn't know was there. Sacred or not, this place gives me the creeps. The hair on my neck stands up. Goosebumps
