I wake up cold. Like, really cold. The ground beneath me is wet and hard and I have no idea why I'm not in my bed. I force my eyes open. The sky is that ugly gray color right before the sun actually shows up. I'm outside. What the actual hell? I try to sit up and everything hurts. My hand presses against something rough and freezing and I look down. Oh god. It's a headstone. I jerk my hand back and scramble up so fast I almost fall over. The scream that comes out of me is embarrassing but I don't even care. I'm in a freaking graveyard. In the middle of nowhere. In my pajamas. I look down at myself. My feet are disgusting—mud and pine needles stuck everywhere. My sleep shorts and tank top are covered in grass stains and dirt. There's something in my hair. I reach up and pull out a twig
