Well, it was clear I had f****d up.
This morning, when the butler had asked what to do with the luggage, I had been curious. We weren’t short of money. If Nyxia wanted, I would buy her a whole mansion's worth of outfits, shoes, bags, accessories—whatever she wished for.
However, none of it was supposed to compare to the emotional importance of something given to you by family. Which was why I had stooped as low as to look through her luggage. But what I found was disappointing at best. She deserved so much more. Much better.
Nothing befitting someone of her status. She was beautiful, effortlessly so, but those clothes weren’t what an Omega like Nyx deserved—especially as the wife of an Alpha. And that made it worse. Those measly scraps were all she had to show for herse
