13 JUNE 17 - SATURDAY We drove back in Ubuntu’s car. It was really small and he’s so big he kinda looked like one of those old-timey circus clowns in one of those old-timey circus clown cars. We didn’t talk at all. It was really, really awkward. Finally after about two hours of dirt roads we got to the interstate. He has a cassette player in his little clown car and the only tapes he had was one by Lionel Richie that was really bad and then one by Huey Lewis which kinda reminded me of Pastor Tom. Sometimes T. listens to Huey Lewis when we drive around late at night. It was weird being in a tiny clown car with a big African man with a machine gun just driving around listening to the same songs but under totally different circumstances. Ubuntu dropped me off at Matthew and Sarah’s house
