ICE SKATE DATE FOR THREE
It was an unusually pleasant winter day for Minneapolis. January occasionally brought pleasant surprises like today: sunshine and tolerable temperatures. Oh, don't get me wrong! It was still just below freezing, yet the sun provided a welcome blanket of warmth as we walked through the park near our house.
We live in a neighborhood near several liberal arts colleges - which is nice because it provides us with a thin veneer of sophistication that similar pockets of the Twin Cities just don't have. There are three museums, fourteen art galleries, dozens of bars with live music and several really cool used book stores all within walking distance of our house.
