Chapter 4-Truths come out

Oliva was still staring at me when the call cut, his eyes sexily seducing me,I twisted my mouth with attitude,". Oliva whatever happened in Chicago was a mistake." I stated, "it was fun but a mistake." I added, hoping he would get that into his thick skull, " mmm, really?" he said, stepping close to me, "stop!" I ordered, I wasn't going to allow him to do this, bed me under his spell. "stop what?" he held my waist, I swallowed hard, he was gorgeous, with delicious looking lips, he lowered his head, slowly his lips met mine, with a tongue he harrased and parted my lips, I felt the warmth in his kiss, it deepened, his pase increased, we were hungry for each other,he held me in his arms and I wrapped my legs around his waist, my hands on his chest.

Tessa opened her bedroom door and went down the stairs, she felt so confused, and annoyed that something was fishy and no one wanted to explain anything to her. She went out through the kitchen door, avoiding her family.

I lay on his chest peacefully, while he rubbed gently his capable hand on my arm,we stayed silent for a moment, lost in thought, " What are we doing?" I whispered, " I don't know,but I like it." Oliva replied, he had a way with my body, with me, he was the missing piece in my puzzle. " I'm married Oliva," I reminded him, I felt his hand slowly leaving me, I felt his energy change " what is it?" I asked, " it's the fact that you do not belong to me ,it hurts Harley" he confessed, melting my heart, tears climbed up and I tietly smiled, hoping that there some truth in his confession.

The door opened and Lisa ruined the moment, our eyes dropped, "oh God Lisa!" Oliva jumped and I covered my bare body with the sheet, " Harley! Oliva!what the hell!" she exclaimed,the shock on her face was a crazy one, "i-i I can explain." Oliva said, his voice shaky. " I told you not to!" she barked, "And you, you are married for heaven's sake" she reminded me with a loud voice, disappointed. You guys should stop , "He is gay!" I said finally, when my voice eventually decided to cooperate.

"what!" she exclaimed, "George is gay, so I'm miserable Lisa" I replied truthfully, I was tired of being judged for my actions, tired of being the bad guy,both Oliva and Lisa stared at me with what I felt as pity. "why didn't you say?" her voice was lighter, soft as she sat on the edge of the bed.

"And start where?" I asked, with a shrug, my gaze on my best friend.

Lisa had being everything to me ever since I got to the city, she was a model, tall, sexy, beautiful,dark. She hugged me silently,and my eyes met Oliva's, he smiled a bit.

"I still want you two to stop ,this will back fire." she said, pulled from me and looked at Oliva, her head nodding to show she meant it.

"of course" I cut in immidiately, before Oliva could say a word .

I told her of Tessa's request and we both hurried to our spot. We walked in and found Tessa at the corner,on a rocking wooden stool ,her head hanging as the stool rocked, she looked peaceful.

"Hey sweetie." Lisa said, her voice bubbly. "Hey !it took you long." she complained, "I know," Lisa rolled her eyes and looked at me, pulled both stools for us, I loved Lisa but I hated her when it came to secret keeping, she was terrible, she had no vein for secrecy in her system, "what's up!" I asked, already worried about Tony and Phoebi s secrect, I was not going to tell her, because it was honestly not my place, my heart cried for her, what she was about to go through needed her to be strong, I prayed and hoped God would grant her power to handle it all " I needed to blow some steam,it's Phoebi, well and Tony," Tessa said and my heart jumped, I looked around for a waiter, my throat suddenly dry.

"I think they are dating." Tessa whispered, and I coughed terribly, they stared at me in shock," Are you ohk?" Tessa questioned ,with a concerned voice, " She will be fine." Lisa said, I sensed sarcasm in her voice, clearly still annoyed by Oliva and I, I cleared my throat and licked my lower lip, " I think you are over reacting," I said boldly, "Of course you think so." Lisa barked, I stayed silent and closed my eyes for a moment, "what makes you say so?" I asked Tessa, ignoring Lisa

"I was walking Oliva out when I met Tony from Phoebi office and they both could not tell me what he was doing there." Tessa explained, I stared into her eyes, they were desperate for the truth, but I couldn't bring myself to tell her so I lied, "honey, you are probably over thinking things." I said, trying to assure her. " I don't trust Phoebi." Lisa said, "Lisa!" I rebuked her," she is right Harley , Phoebi is unpredictable." Tessa added.

"I Know but I think we should not think negatively until we can be sure." I pleaded, my eyes went from Tessa to Lisa.

"Anyway!what took you so long to get here." Tessa said, "Wanna tell her Harley?" Lisa said, "tell me what?" Tessa asked, "That she is sleeping with the famous Oliva Page." Lisa said , I remained quiet, waiting for Tessa to shout, and she did," what!!!" she yelled, her eyes were wide open, "Harley you are married, apart from that Oliva is a no go zone." Tessa said, "Tell her" Lisa added, "This won't just take you down alone, it will take us, including all the hard work we have put in the company down, for what Harley." she continued, I wanted to scream but I kept my cool, watered my lips by licking then then exhaled ," You both have no right to tell me who to sleep with, you don't even know my reasons Tessa." I defended myself, " There is no valid reason for a married woman to break her vows, gosh !" she barked in disgust, " really!!! honestly Tessa, I don't believe you are acting all mighty when nothing in your life is worst than what you are complaining about" I shot back, irritated by her response to my issue, yes Oliva was not good for me but he loved me, and I loved him. what is that supposed to mean?" she asked,her eyes staring at me, " your life is not as perfect as you think, before you judge and act holier, solve your issues." I said, my mind fighting my mouth, the 3of us went mute for seconds, " Tony is Lizzy's father," I stated, I saw my cousin's mood change, she moved her lips but mo words came out, "huh! how do you know Harley?" Lisa asked me in disbelief, " I heard them, Tiny and Phoebi, in your office Tessa, talking." I explained, Tessa remained silent, I could see tears shinning in her eyes, "I'm sorry but I felt it was not my place to say anything." I concluded with a polite voice, my gaze on Tessa, my heart crying deeply for her, for this was the beginning of her problems. She stood silently and walked out, and we turned our heads till she disappeared through the door.

"So they are sleeping together?"Lisa said, her voice still in shock, "I dont know Lisa,I don't know,all I know is Lizzy is Tony's daughter." I confirmed painfully.
