Needs Editing still :D While I was in physical therapy I had met a girl, who lived in the city of crestcenton. Her brother ran an MC which she explained to me was a motorcycle club. They were good guys she told me but the could get a little rowdy. Her mother ran a diner there and she told me they didn’t have any type of bakery. I was sold I had spent the last 6 months planning my business model and making accommodations. She offered to house me, and her mother said she wouldn’t mind. They were such sweet people. They thought me staying in town wasn’t beneficial for me and that a change was needed. I had got all my money transferred into a bank account I opened with their credit Union in town the day I left the hospital. I was leaving with the clothes on my back and this time I didn’t look back as I passes city lines I wasn’t planning on going back. Ignoring the phone calls, I received I drove and drove until I reached crestcenton at 12am. I drove to what shed called a compound. It houses MC members and had spare rooms. She had talked to her brother who was the boss man, he led the MC. When I had met her brother during lunch he hasn’t talked much, and his stare was unnerving. He kept making my wolf want to submit to show she wouldn’t fight him for dominance. His mother had eventually hit him with her purse to get him to stop. He was a strange man, but he wasn’t unkind. He agreed to house me and take me in as well as give me a job at the diner. I wasn’t happy with the nickname he gave me, he called me mutt. Like a dog?! Strange man. I needed somewhere safe to go as Haley would say somewhere the wolves I would tread lightly. And what better place then with bears. Laughing I couldn’t believe I was running away to stay with bear shifters. I don’t know too much about them expect not to wake them while they were sleeping and a few other things Haley told me. Calm obedient Connie running away to live with bears. I missed Haley’s mom she had been really helpful to me especially in me realizing that my comma had saved me from having to be around Delaine. Especially after finding out about the children. And the fact that they immediately were giving me rules and regulations after I just got home, oh no. I knew deep down going home wouldn’t work but the meeting with the alpha cemented that. I wouldn’t be respected, I would get challenged often, and I don’t like dealing with drama or rumors! Delaine would have made my life a living hell. Pulling into town I drove along with the sound of the navigation in the car. I parked in an open spot in the parking lot for the immense building. It certainly housed a lot of people, the parking lot held various cars and large amounts of motorcycles. Going to my trunk I opened it and grabbed the suitcase I’d packed almost 5 years ago when I thought I was leaving to live with Andrew. I slowly approached the entrance and paused halfway there. It was 12:30am, should I wait…maybe come back later. Lost in thought I missed the large dark shadow slowly walking towards me. I felt eyes on me and glanced up and there he was. Startled I screamed. The entrance slammed open and several men ran out. Haley’s brother placed his hand up to signal to the guys. He yells, "stop screaming mutt", in my direction. Mut?! I stopped screaming to tell him to stop calling me mutt! Then paused I had never yelled at anyone before, me and Andrew never quarreled. Crossing my arms, I leaned my hip to the right and frowned at him. Then he had the audacity to poke me in the middle of my forehead! Ugh. “Hands off!” I shake a finger in his direction. “I think you woke up the whole building.” He glared at me. Me? The gall. “Most people announce themselves when they approach people!”. “I did! You were just standing there and then you started f*****g screaming.” “Why are you swearing?” “Why am I swearing, huh, well aren’t you a goody two shoes?” We faced each other and started arguing back and forth. Haley stepped between us. “Not again, you two I just can’t with the flirting”. "What?!?", We both glared at her. Putting my nose in the air, I flip my hair over my shoulder, “as if”. He narrows his eyes, shoving his hands in his back pocket and shrugs. Grabbing my arm, she steers me toward the building. As we march past the guys she doesn’t slow to introduce us. She just yells this is Connie she will be staying here till she figures out her life. Turning he watched his sister and Connie walk away. Hawk wasn’t sure what about Connie bothered him more; the fact she constantly challenged him or the fact he wanted her. And he wanted her bad. He watched her ass as she walked toward the compound. The slight sway of her hips acted like a magnet for his eyes and he could not look away. Those shorts were doing her ass justice. Her ass looked soft and firm, extremely spankable. The things he wanted to do to her…fuck, growling, he shook his head. “She yours?” Turning Hawk faced his brother and fellow mc members. “Yes.” Staring at each man individually, making sure everyone got what he was saying. Connie was his mate and he was not planning on letting her get away or losing her to any man, shifter or human.
