An ode to a flame it is, an ode to a light it is... if one looks with a spiritual sight,
A light that though may have been extinguished by the sands of time,
It still burns in the hearts of many with all its might.
The light may appear dim; the light may appear small,
But it still fills a warm fire in us all.
It brings with it, not just warmth or sweet memories,
But also a pure feeling of love that joins us all.
Us who were strangers to each other, but not anymore,
Because the flame has joined us together,
Not just for a moment, but for more.
Don’t be mistaken because this flame had a face
A face which exhibited love and joy,
A face that showed humanity and grace.
A face that touched your heart, a face that touched your soul
