What am I doing? I huffed slowly while taking in long deep breaths to fill in my burning lungs. My hands were placed on my thighs as I leaned forward to breathe better and maintain balance which my aching legs were finding it difficult to do. Sweat dripped down from the tip of my nose on the floor and I felt my throat dry and itch, like it had been scraped by sandpaper.  Looking around I realized that in order to escape from reality and in other words, the venue of the fashion show where I had lost, I had run all the way to the college’s parking lot. All sorts of vehicles were lined on either side and I knew somewhere in this my car had also been parked and I could find some water there but for the life of me I couldn’t remember where I had parked it.
