Amidst the mundane monotony of the day, irritation and annoyance surged through me like a storm brewing in my mind. Each passing second seemed to bring a new annoyance, a fresh reason to grind my teeth and scowl. The people around me, with their banal chatter and meaningless meandering, only fueled my growing discontent. They chalked it up to pregnancy hormones, and though I didn't doubt their words, it did little to alleviate the intense frustration simmering within.
With a frustrated huff, I pushed myself off the chair, seeking refuge in the cool, fresh air outside. The sudden change of scenery did little to quell the agitation coursing through my veins, but at least it provided a reprieve from the oppressive atmosphere within.
