  Freya's Pov   My eyes fluttered open, the sharp pain in my head throbbing like a pulsing drum. As my vision cleared, I found myself staring up at the ornate ceiling of the mansion.   Slowly, the memories of my confrontation with Lucia came rushing back, the shame and anger still simmering in my chest like hot coals. But I had more pressing concerns at the moment, my body ached from the fall, and I wasn't sure how long I had been unconscious.   The soft beeping of machines and the muted voices of nurses filtered into my awareness as my eyes adjusted to the dimly lit hospital room.
