LENA'S POV I told Ghost about the hallway again that night, fully this time, every detail I had been holding back even in my public statement. We sat in his office with the door closed, just the two of us, and I made myself say it plainly instead of in the careful, edited version I had given the cameras. The dinner at Edmund's house. Everyone going to get drinks. The hallway. The way he had cornered me against the wall and told me I should get used to it. Ghost listened without interrupting once.
